Saint Laurent have just released their fall collection - some lovely bags in there, plus different colour variations of some favourites. They are now doing the Becky 'mini'. Little smaller than the small size, but with two compartments it looks like. I'm hoping they'll bring out more shades x

I just went on their site! I’m so excited - they came out with a “mini” size. Right now it seems to only come in green and black, but I can’t wait to see what other colors they’ll come out with!

Yes - they surely won't limit it to black and green I'm thinking? The mini looks like a great choice for someone's who's petite too. I've been waiting for them to release their fall collection for ages!

Hi Ladies,
Boy I've been MIA since my original post and now there are so many new posts! I'm glad the Becky bag is getting more attention. It really is a beautiful bag and I'm happy with my purchase although I wish I would've waited a bit now that the mini Becky is coming out. For reference I'm 5'3 and the mini might be better for my height. I love the gray color. It's stunning!

Hi Ladies,

I got Becky a couple months ago and I am absolutely in love with it! At the beginning I hesitated as I thought it might be too big for me (I am 5’5). It’s more of a medium bag than a small. I wanted to wait until the mini Becky was out and compare the two of them, but I gave up after a couple of weeks and I am so glad I did. I love the fact that the bag and chains are not too heavy (like Sunset or Loulou). It’s a beautiful bag, classy and edgy at the same time. You can easily dress up or down and wear it as an evening bag. It’s definitely a statement piece!

Thanks ladies!! I also had not seen any YT reviews of this bag —only the WOC so this thread really helped me make my decision and my Becky size small came in today! I tried it on at my local boutique (pictured) but purchased via selfridges for a HUGE discount ($550!) during cyber Monday. I love how flexible the flap is. It reminds me of an upgraded version of my medium Chanel boy. The boy flap is super stiff and the capacity is small. I love how supple and flexible YSL’s lamb skin is. I believe it will keep its shape as well. So excited to take it grocery shopping with me the rest of quarantine .

The lambskin is gorgeous (smells lovely too), it's coated so won't scratch easily - but compared to the SL matalasse leather, you will need to be a little more careful with it. it's got 3 pockets - one large compartment in the middle (with a smaller zip pocket inside), one slip pocket at the front (which has a full leather mini pocket inside) and one slip compartment at the back. I'm 5ft 10 and UK size 14 with large bust, and I can comfortably wear this crossbody (hits just above my hip) and it's great with strap doubled up to wear on the shoulder! The hardware is slightly brushed on the black/ gold hardware, and mirrored on the grey/silver hardware. It's not a heavy bag. If you'd like any mod shots, let me know - hope this helps
