Sorry to butt in, but have any of you experienced your OPI Gel Colour polishes to go 'off' or separate? I haven't used mine for about a year and tried one of them recently and it wasn't the same texture as before despite shaking and rolling. Do they have a limited shelf life? It seemed ok once I mixed it back together but once on the nail, it wasn't curing properly, the polish was sliding off to the sides, if that makes sense.
I have. What color was it? Apparently they say 18 month shelf life... But I've had mine for longer
Alpine Snow and Can't Find My Czechbook were the ones I tried. I have a bunch of others, some never used, argh.
That's crazy those two I haven't had any issue with id say warm them, use a stir stick, leave them upside down and then shake the heck out of them.

I have something else on my nails now but will try them again soon.
I never do my own polish because I haven't gotten the hang of gels but here's my current mani... The pink is 3 coats of bubble bath and the white is 2 coats of funny bunny. The glitters are another brand they used.
I'm thinking of coffin nails next time.
A question for you guys... Do you find that the light colours stain over time? Has anyone found a solution for it?
Hi there, no usually you won't have staining with light colors it's usually darker - blues teals purples reds etc. there is no solution. Sometimes double base coat....
I'm tempted to change my almond nails to coffin this time around too. I'm just worried they would break easier (for some reason the more square shapes always do on me).
My light colors always stain and I haven't found a way around it so far. Here's to hoping!
That's interesting because I'm the opposite. I love the shape of almond nails but they break on me almost immediately. I've been doing only gel since December and I haven't had a single break. Maybe I should try again.
Does anyone know which OPI Gel shade is the closest to Essie's Bahama Mama? Dying to find it!!!
