My understanding it that because it's exposed to the elements, like the sun. I think pinks and purples are the worst culprits.

Thanks for the answer. I hope my other colors don't fade. I also bought Kiss Me I'm Brazilian and Red Hot Rio.
I added some photos so that you can see the difference of Don't Bossa Nova Me Around on a swatch wheel and on my nails. Is such a big difference really possible?

Wow. I haven't had big problems with OPI fading in the past. I hope this isn't a new trend. For me, I have had big time fading issues with Gelish. Enough that I avoid Gelish now.

Does anyone know which OPI gelcolor is close to "I love applause" in the regular nail polish? It's part of the Muppets Most Wanted line. Looking at the swatches on OPI.com I don't see one that matches but I thought I'd ask here just in case. Maybe an older color is close? TIA

You could try looking at mod about you it look similar maybe pastel version?

Has anybody tried OPI GelColor Base with colors from other brands like gelish? Because I love the base from OPI GelColor. It is so easy to remove. But i hate base coats from other brands.

It works great. I always use either Shellac or OPI base and Gelish topcoat no matter what color coats I'm using.

Okay thank you because i have some essie gel colors and with the essie gel base the removal is hard

Is it normal that the base coat is a little bit sticky? it doesn't look even and shiny on my nails. more like glue.

Hey girls where are you getting your gel polishes? I'm looking for liquid sand, Brazil, and Gwen Stefani collection. I found a couple on amazon but they are extremely expensive.

I always buy them on ebay. But I don't have many other alternatives because I'm from Germany and here you can't get them.

Check the site I posted above they have individual and sets gels and regular polish good prices too.

I had to purchase the gels of stefani on ebay I couldn't find them anywhere else

I just opened my bottle of OPI Gelcolor A Grape Fit recently and saw that it is seperating and somewhat faded to an ugly gray. I shook the heck out of it but it doesn't seems to have helped. I'm quite saddened by this since I really like this color and have yet to use it. Anyone else have this problem with A Grape Fit???
