OP next to a name

I am down here at my place in Florida and can only get on TPF once a week, using my neighbor's laptop, so I guess I am behind on what is happending on TPF, also going through TPF withdrawal.
What does OP mean above some of the names? I saw it on a friend's name and also on mine, but it is not there consistently.
Thanks for any info on this, I couldnt find it listed anywhere through the search function.
