i've been collecting since 07, made some mistakes, impulsive busy, tried many styles, some worked out for me, some didn't. thank you for your sweet words about my collection. i also learned that the leather is the most important thing, if i don't love the leather, i won't love the bag. :smile:;) your 09 black gsh looks almost like a 05 black.

delmilano I agree totally with u.
The leather plays an important part with Balenciaga beauties...
The first Black City that arrived just didn't feel right.
I was a little disappointed I have to say :shucks:
No magic about her.
I actually almost lost faith in Balenciaga. :sad:
Then I found a fall 06 Matelasse quilted beauty that caught my eye.
Love her dearly, she won me over with her buttery saturated color & gorgeous chevre leather...
Agneau can work it's magic too!!!!!
When this one came along, I new straight away, she's the one 4 me....
The color & leather on her brought a huge smile on my face.
Distress on her is just perfect 4 now & as I carry her in time she will break in just beautifully...
I have always loved the City, such a classic bag... (more to come)
Delmilano I am always learning from u & the others that have been collecting 4 a while.
I thank you from the bottom of my heart....:hugs:
