Hi lovelies! Im considering the OTM empreinte noir in MM size. The only that wonders me is Im 5’0 tall, would it look gigantic on a petite frame? And the weight of that bag? We’re planning on starting a family late this year and I feel like this bag would be a perfect mommy bag, I love that it has a long strap and top handle, the huge opening. I have a Neverfull MM in Monogram/beige but that one hurts my shoulder Mod shots and advice would be appreciated! Thank you so much!

the first time I saw one was while I was in the boutique purchasing another purse. a petite lady was carrying a GM in Reverse Mono and it looked so chic on her. I've been stalking the same tote in MM since then. I don't think I can manage with a GM as I find it too big and overwhelming for my frame (I'm only 5'4"). It's currently a battle between a Reverse Mono and Tourterelle. the latter is such a dainty color and lovely material but it's more practical to get a canvas as it's lighter and easier to maintain.

Good to know re: sizing! I am also 5'4 and I thought the MM size was just perfect to be useful but not overwhelming. I only saw te MM in store not the GM thought. I think due to the boxy style that the GM size would be way too much and would for me just be a travel bag. I love the canvass but considering the price I think regardless you want to LOVE it. I am in Canada and it is $3400 here which is steep! That is why I have not purchased it at this point :(

agree. it would be more fit for our frame if it were a neverfull GM given that it can be folded and would not look too overpowering. the MM is a great everyday bag. it does not hold as much as a neverfull MM and does not fit a 15" laptop (unless placed vertically) which is what I use for work but I still have my eyes on it. :love: I'm not even bothered by the black shoulder strap :smile: the price is also quite steep here in Australia at $3950 for the MM. I feel that I've reached my bag purchase limit this year which is what's holding me to buy the OTG tote... but given the rumours (or probably true) about LV limiting their stocks of the classic monogram canvas, I might reconsider..

I saw a Youtube video of a bandouliere strap used on an OTG GM. It does work, great for traveling if you want to free up your hands.

Hi ladies, so I’ve been considering the OTG tote but couldn’t decide on the color. I’ve narrowed down to the more neutral colors (although I love the look of the by the pool). My only problem is I can’t try these on at the store because they are sold out where I’m at and a friend is going to help me find one in Hawaii next week so I really need to narrow down to one color to make it easier on her. I have 2 young kids, almost 2 year old twins so this will just be an everyday bag for me. Which one would you choose if you are in my shoes? Are the empreinte’s heavier than the giant mono canvas?

Hi! I am also 5’0 tall and I purchased the OTG MM empreinte in turtledove today. I tried it on in store and I felt like it will be the perfect mommy bag! That is the reason I purchased it, diapers, wipes and still fit my things too! It is definitely heavier compared to my neverfull MM though. Good luck making your decision!

All the colors that you've chosen are beautiful. I'd be having a hard time finalizing my choice too :) the empreinte's are definitely heavier than the canvas. for an all around/toddler bag, i'd say the most practical choice would be the canvas. it's the least one to maintain -- you don't have to worry much about the wear and tear of the leather, it's the least heavy. I have a toddler myself and I'd rather choose a tote that I can put anywhere and can have anything inside without thinking much if it's already gotten scratched or color transfers.

I went for it! Tried it on first and fell in love and went back few days later to get it! I feel like the size was just made for me and I love love love the long straps! I purchased the noir.
