Did something happen to your glazing? I remember you saying at some point your original was good and that you wanted to keep it until something happened. Wondering if something happened to yours since then or if you’re swapping to be ahead of the game. Interesting comparison pics - they’re so different!!
Hi! There was nothing wrong with it but my CA felt like a problem with the glazing was inevitable. I decided to exchange it now to avoid getting the new one with black interior handles. Yes, I agree that the new vs old is very different in appearance.

So I almost ordered that nutmeg color organizer but was not sure it would match interior - how does it look color wise? I definitely want to put one in the bottom! Thanks!

@jakeandmer1 Its not a perfect color match but it blends in nicely. I love the cotton canvas material it’s made of and the wipe clean vinyl bottom of the organizer. It’s very lightweight. Well built. Here are a few pics:

Loving the OTG totes, especially the mm size!

OTG totes owners, which tote would you recommend as the one and only LV tote? I have been considering the Neverfull mm in monogram or damier azur, and now the OTG mm tote really caught my eye. The OTG is almost twice the cost of the Neverfull, and while I felt that the Neverfull is rather overpriced for what it is, the OTG seems to have more details and structure. Don't get me wrong, I love LV and have a few of their canvas products. I prefer something more understated but polished, and goes with all outfits. I know the OTG is heavier, but how much is it heavier than the Neverfull? Is it significant? And does the width/depth of the OTG make it bulky and painful against the body? I'm slender and dislike rigid bags knocking against my body.

I used to have Neverfull GM handbag, purchased long time ago when it was first released, after 9 months the handles started pealing, I took it back and had it replaced. New handles we much stronger and had no problem afterwards. I personally prefer to repair then replace as LV repair product better way then original. About 2 years ago I sold my Neverfull for more money then original purchase due to price increase for LV product. However I missed her sooo much and last year I was looking to purchase a new Neverfull but MWT MM with black trim, strolling through website I discovered OTG reversed canvas and fell in love . When I went to the LV Store my heart went to Black OTG leather version.

Do you think the on the go will soften with time or stay structured? To me it feels very hard .. I haven’t worn mine yet but I love the look but not the feel .. debating on taking it back for a Neverfull .. I know I can’t believe I just said that because I never have loved them because I see them every where but I want a softer feel .. I don’t know .. I love the look but the feel not so much .. ‍♀️

I am exchanging my original OTG with glazed edges. I’m sure you can tell from the pics which one is the original. The canvas is thicker on the new one and the reinforced stitching on the edges makes it more structured.

Great decision. I pulled my OTG down from my closet just to check it because of your post. I purchased mine in October of 2019 and thankfully it has no glazing. I didn’t even know that there was one produced with glazing. Maybe they have a good reason for going to the black straps, but I don’t like that look at all.

I think it will with the time as leather is always softens up with the use.

Yes I think so. I got one of the first editions and it was pretty stiff, its relaxed in how structured it is, but softened up so slowly I didn't notice. I was looking back at old pics of it trying to decide if I should keep a new replacement or get mine repaired. Mine has the glazed edges, but initially it was very stiff and perfect structure, now it looks more relaxed and used which I prefer.

The glazed sides were on the first batch of the OntheGo. I purchased mine in April 2019. I don’t recall the exact date when they stopped making them with the glazed sides. I am happy with my new one. Instead of the black straps, it would look better if they went with brown straps to match the canvas on the bag.
