I did ask her about the OntheGo Empriente sagging and she said she doubted that the leather would sag due to the construction of the bag and if I had any problems with sagging or anything construction wise I could bring it in to exchange for the same bag or another of my choice. I’m not sure how it will wear over time but the Artsy was not completely stiff when I purchased her. It’s a bag that’s designed to sag (boho style) My sister has a canvas Artsy that sags as well, not as much as my leather one but the canvas is not as stiff as it once was. I plan on using an organizer/ bag shaper in my Empriente OntheGo.

@CAF01 I returned my OntheGo Reverse Monogram today. Decided on the Empriente Noir version. Mainly to replace my Artsy. I’m also planning to buy an Empriente Pochette Métis in Noir to have a smaller option in the same leather and gold combo.
It was a hard decision! So I know you are torn. Maybe think about which one immediately caught your attention and makes your heart
sing!Also, this may or may not help your decision, but today when I returned the Reverse Monogram, the SA’s told me they expect the OntheGo (which is now a staple style of bag due to its popularity) to come out in MANY more prints within the next year and a half. Like the Neo noe, which started out in just monogram and is now offered in epi leather and even Damier Ebene. If the OntheGo GM comes out in Damier Ebene, I’m grabbing it immediately! Lol

To the owners of this bag in the canvas GM version: can you comment on the weight of the bag? Went back to some of the older comments and some said this bag is heavy. I am looking for an LV canvas tote and love the long strap of this bag. I tried the Neverfull in the past and finds the strap too short for shoulder wear. I normally travel really light and can fit most of my stuff in a Chanel mini, but I need a bigger bag in the winter to stuff my scarves, mitts, hat etc. Thanks in advance!
The weight of the bag is subjective. It’s going to vary from person to person considering the contents inside the bag. Personally, I do not find it to be heavy and the straps do not dig into my shoulder. You should try it on in store and load it up with some items. Walk around the store with it to determine if it’s too heavy for you. I’m sure the store won’t mind this if they have it in stock.
Does anyone know when the MM size might be available online/in stock on the UK website? The item has been added on Thursday but has not been in stock since. Customer Service has no information. It's sold out in all London stores on the first day of launch. I am so impatient!

Cannot try it on at the moment because it is out of stock at my local store. I might try my luck and order it online. Really want to be able to use it on my upcoming trip. Like that the bag is made of canvas and can be cleaned with a wipe, and will be handy at the airport to hold a light jacket and some last minute duty free shopping hehe. Thanks EmmJay! I don’t find it to be all that heavy but I don’t carry a ton in mine. I love the shoulder straps. They don’t bother me at all.
Good afternoon, I just got the new Onthego Empreinte Noir and I have to share because peopleare trying to figure out the size, fit, etc - I was the same a week ago.
Now, I am 5’7 and 170 lbs ☺️. I am posting the pictures of the Empreinte next to my beloved Prada BN1802 (the biggest size Galleria Saffiano). As you can see Empreinte is bigger and lighter AND it has the shoulder straps! I just LOVE big bags so now I have a new love Please excuse my clothes and hairdo
As a side note, this is my first new Louis Vuitton bag. I always buy preloved but the moment I saw it I was inlove and I had to take the plunge! It took me 2 days to actually purchase it: it was still available online and I wasn’t sure I want to spend that much on a bag. Last Saturday morning when I woke up it was “ Call for availability”. I almost cried - like I said: no experience dealing with the “real thing”. So I called and the very nice rep told me she has to verify and will call me back - yeah, right, I thought. 40 min later she called me back and asked me if I want to place the order but it will take up to 2 weeks to get it. I was soooo happy I order it and I just got it today - sooner than expected.
If you’re thinking about it - don’t! In real life the bag it’s just drop dead gorgeous! I hope this helps a bit.
