Thanks for the info. I just ordered one today! For those of you that enjoy soft supple leather but want structure, you might consider a bag organizer from Divide and Conquer on Etsy, with Connie(she’s the owner). I have 4 so far, and love them. They are made of canvas similar to a yacht sail in your choice of colors, and the bottom is rigid and wipeable and they help a bag remain structured. She is a joy to work with and she will also do custom sizes, eg I ordered a custom small one for my neverfull mm for when I cinch the ends, and she was very helpful. She also stocks common sizes for good bags, like NF, Birkin, Alma, etc. she has even made 2 different inserts for the NF MM - one for it you like rigid structure or one slight smaller. All in all I wish everyone I work with was as meticulous and as easy to do business with! All 4 of my organizers have gotten lots of use and they still look perfect and new. (disclaimer, no connection with Connie except that of a huge fan!). So if the OTG Empriente is softer than some would like, this may be a good option. HTH
I’m having the same dilemma. I really want the lighter one because I will use it for travel and I definitely fill them up. Do you notice a difference in the weight between them? I’m also hoping it can fit under the airplane seat.Joined the OntheGo club last week with my Reverse Monogram GM and picked up my Empriente Noir GM today. I purchased both knowing I would only keep ONE. But now I’m definitely having a hard time deciding which one to keep. I plan on selling my Artsy Empriente noir because I don’t use her at all and I’m not a fan of holding bags by the top handles or in the crook of my arm ONLY. I really like the idea of the shoulder strap on the OntheGo AND the option to hold in your hand by the top handles or in the crook of your arm.
Also purchased the Empriente Noir Key Pouch. I’ve had my canvas Damier Ebene six ring key holder for 8 years. She served me well. The Empriente key pouch is truly a beauty. Honestly,
each of these pieces are absolutely gorgeous
They both look lovely on you. I really like the OTG for daily use or traveling. I was never a fan of the Artsy. It’s heavy and dark inside, the black hole. You can’t go wrong with either OTG.Joined the OntheGo club last week with my Reverse Monogram GM and picked up my Empriente Noir GM today. I purchased both knowing I would only keep ONE. The MM is available online https://us.louisvuitton.com/eng-us/products/onthego-mm-nvprod2010014v
I have put my bag staples in both and have to say the Empriente version is a tiny bit heavier, which I guess is to be expected because it’s leather. Honestly though, it’s not enough to deter me from the leather version. The leather is supple, soft, and striking in person. It’s just such a convenient and practical bag that I really think it’s up to your preference based on the color/material bag that you need in your wardrobe. FYI the sales reps at Louis Vuitton in the Beverly Center went crazy today over the leather version. It was their first time seeing it in store. I ordered it online and picked up in store. Both versions are beauties, I’m leaning towards the leather noir ONLY because it will replace the Artsy Empriente Noir in my personal collection. Looking at other posts here about the OntheGo on an airplane, I think they would both fair well with care.I’m having the same dilemma. @EmmJay Yes! I did notice that, it’s sooo beautiful@Blon Did you notice how the leather is extended on the interior of the Empreinte? The interior of the canvas is not like that. The Empreinte is so luxurious.
BTW, I love shopping at the Beverly Center with Tania. She’s so sweet!

Beautiful bags! Congrats!! Do you think the Empriente Onthego will slouch and soften over time or will it remain structured? Did your sales associate advise about this? Was your Empriente Artsy structured, upright, and stiff when you first bought it?Joined the OntheGo club last week with my Reverse Monogram GM and picked up my Empriente Noir GM today.
