When I bought mine in Ft Worth, the CA said the Reverse was going out and the fluffy sheepskin one and a different pattern was coming in. He said they were not producing more in Reverse. However, we all know how much mis-information is out there. I basically believe what I see! :P
The style is permanent but the styles can come and go anytime... like everything LV now lol

I edited to add, I hope EmmJay is right. Not that I want to continue a cycle of buying and selling, I know my bag will be more likely to sell at a decent price if it's not considered dated. And, I happen to like Reverse. :)

It is permanent. Often times, CAs use this tactic to entice clients to buy an item due to FOMO! Currently, there are no plans to discontinue the reverse but that can change anytime.
Well, I'm glad your CA says it's permanent, as far as permanent can be with LV. But to keep my TPF dignity, he said that AFTER I bought the bag, so no FOMO.

This has never happened to me before! I am thinking of returning my OTG. I'm in a cast on my right foot right and a boot on the left, so I can't drive or walk around much. As a result, I have not worn the bag out of the house since purchasing. It's siting on my dresser and that's it. Every time I think about filling it up to go out to dinner if a friend or husband takes me out, I have this strange feeling of being embarrassed by the HUGE LV's and I use a different bag.

What is wrong with me? I have always liked reverse mono. And I love the red interior. I think I may like this bag as a piece of art more than a useful bag. The only place I can envision myself using the bag is traveling. I'm not sure that's enough for me with this price tag. And I have 2 GM's for travel.

How are y'all enjoying your OTG? I just looked at it again and threw it over my shoulder (empty and in the house) and love the bag, but also think it's a bit obnoxious.

I love mine and use it often. I’ve had it since April and it is a forever bag for me. I cannot wait to get it in Empreinte. For me, it works for daily use and is perfect for traveling. I have a NF GM and a Saumur 35 for travel too that I use.

I love mine but I don't care much what other people think I guess

It's not a bag i'd wear if I wanted to look understated, but when I see it on other people, it's not that loud to me.

I think if thought about it that way, it makes more sense. If want to be under the radar, then definitely carry a different bag.

It's very likely I"m only thinking this b/c I look really odd with a cast up to my knee on one foot and a boot on the other. I'm already self conscious right now.

Oh my! How are you managing to get around? So sorry! It sounds so difficult.

I totally didn't expect to be joining this club, but I am very happy to have done so! Stumbled across the Reverse Onthego in my local store when they received it unexpectedly. I am getting ready to leave for a 4 day horseback riding/yoga retreat and the combination of these two great bags will be perfect for the trip. Day and nights are covered

Because I can't stand my things jumbled in the bottom of a large bag, I was able to order a Pelikus bag organizer off of Amazon Prime with two day shipping. I prefer the Smorgas but their production/shipping time is too long this time around. Feeling really good about my upcoming excursion

Oh wow!!! What a wonderful combo-the bags of course, but yoga and horseback riding! I'm a yoga teacher. That is me in my avatar. :) I've been teaching for 15 years!
