I love my mum :girlsigh:

She surprised me today by saying "let's look at watches!" Okay! We hopped online. She had a Panthere she had been listing over for months, but I knew I could help her find a better deal, and we were able to score a stunning diamond one for her in mint condition for about $3K. Then she asked me if I was still liking the little Cartier Must de 21 I picked up at an Edinburgh pawn shop for £400 this past summer and asked if there was a dream watch in my mind.

Next thing you know, this beauty is on the way to me (found for $2000!) I can't believe I'm finally the proud owner of a gorgeous Cartier Tank! [emoji7] [emoji51] [emoji4] [emoji7] I'll post pics as soon as she gets here but I couldn't wait to share.

Thank you all so much. My mum has been longing for one too so I managed to bargain for one for her as well. This Panthere has 3 carats of VS1 F colour diamonds and I found it for $2950. Some serious steals right now! It'll arrive to surprise her tonight!

These make my wee Must de 21 I found at an Edinburgh reseller for £400 look rather plain in comparison [emoji23] the band on mine is so small (5" and I'm 6.5") and links so expensive we ended up finding a second one on eBay for $1200 and will use its limks then put a leather strap on it and mum is going to wear it for an everyday watch. Received my beauty! She sneakily had the seller upgrade it-- it's got an antiqued face, shiny rather than brushed links, and a diamond Crown rather than the usual sapphire. The diamonds in the bracelet and bezel are amazingly fiery. I'm in love :girlsigh: had it checked out by our local high end watch retailer and all is well! Looking forward to many years of Tank Francaise love! :love:
