You ladies were kind enough to help me narrow down a crazy collection of necklaces that I was trying to decide between. I think I've gotten it to where I'm not all over the place in general style, so I'd like to ask for one more round of opinions. Here are (I think) my final options:

I'd be wearing this necklace on an 18" chain, probably not layered with anything else. My family has all told me I should get the HOF, but for some reason I'm blocked. I think it's because I feel like the bezel setting is more formal and not as everyday - am I wrong? It's important that this be something I can pass on to my daughter (who likes the HOF), so I've tried to not pick anything too faddish or age-specific. I'm a little worried whether or not the Tiffany pieces fit that requirement. The only item that I have something similar to is the Blue Nile pave heart; I have a teeny-tiny pave heart necklace in white gold, but I don't even know what the carat weight is on it.

Once again, I appreciate any advice you might have for me!

IMHO, I think all of the necklaces, except for the Hearts on Fire (last one) could eventually be faddish and I associate them with younger women. The last one is a classic that could always be worn, years down the line. I'd go with the last necklace. As it is a small, plainer diamond, you certainly could wear it every day.

If you really like the others, you may need to reconsider whether you'll gift it to your daughter or not, or if it will be just for you. Could you get what you want for now, and then promise to buy something later that your daughter and you like to leave to her later?

my vote is either the tiffany key or the HOF. I do not in anyway think the HOF is to formal, perfect everyday necklace that will stand the test of time.

the return to tiffany would be my last choice...

HOF for sure. I have the beloved setting in a ring and would love a pendant like this. I love fun but classic jewelry and I would be thrilled to get this!

Of the four choices, I choose option #4. It is a classic and timeless design. While the RTT and Key pendants are some of the signature Tiffany pieces, I'm not too keen on those two collections. I think the two can perhaps be more appealing to the younger generation, but I don't see them as timeless. Hope this helps!
