OMG I bought my Tiffany's yellow diamond pendant today!!!

I knew it!! I knew that once you went in to try on the cushions and drops that you would fall in love and forget the whole custom thing. I'm so happy for you. It is gorgeous, and if you ever get bored down the road, you can always send it in to get it "customized"... 
You alread have the design all figured out by NYC.
But I love it in the gold bezet by its self. Gorgeous... I saw the white diamond version of your necklace yesterday, by coincedence. I thought it was beautiful too. But I liked the yellow diamond better. So yummy!

Thank you all SO much! It's such a big purchase for me and reading that you all love it makes me feel like I made a good choice, thank you for letting me share!!! I love TPF... besides the one friend I bought it with I haven't told/shown a soul (even DH!) and will save it for a big anniversary so it's so fun to be able to show some virtual friends!!

Sure! It was $14,909 (wow just writing that makes me stomach a little queasy!) Canadian... originally listed as $17,300 CND and $15,200 USD. Just goes to show it never ever hurts to ask and push a little (amazingly I didn't even have to push!) - especially in this economy... I don't think the manager wanted to see this sale go south of the border!!! She (at Bloor St.) was LOVELY. I dealt with Tatijana and she went to her manager who made it all possible. Love Tiffany's! Oh and they have a lovely lovely .89 FI and a 1.02 FV there right now... not tempting you or anything!!! PM me if you want my SA's name/email.
Oh and she hinted that it was a really good time to invest in one if you're going to because their introductory period is coming to an end (this was the Manager speaking) and they performed exceptionally well so there was a good chance the prices would go up fairly soon...
Thank you! Totally agree - in the ring the soleste is DIVINE... everyone in the store agrees it's the perfect ring style. She said the pear drops were selling incredibly well so I think I was right to kind of trust their designers...
And one day when I'm 50 and fancier I can get the halo if I still want it! Right now, for a 30-something mom who works in film, I think this is just perfection - a simple understated drop of sunny diamond!
THANK YOU!! I will definitely post them when I have it! I almost walked away without getting any but was like, OMG I can't share this with TPF without SOME pics! I still love love love your ring. My friend couldn't take it off. LOL! There's always 20th anniversaries one day far away!! You don't think the colour is too dark do you? I know you liked the FI range - honestly I would have loved it if it had been FI because I could not tell the difference (in this setting) between the two and it would have been a bit less, but this shape was just perfect to me! I can't believe how different two pears can look that are .3 points apart! Pears are something you realllly have to see in person I guess!

THANKS!!! haha... I should have listened to you guys all along. The longer I had to wait (thank GOD I had her bring the .94 in! I was really not that impressed with the shape of that one!) and more time I had to think...the more I thought it was silly to question their designs. (just watch, they'll come out with a halo'd pear next year! LOL!) I really am shocked b/c if you go back over my emails, this one was never in the running! But so happy!!!
Yes the white diamond one is gorgeous too and it's funny... for anyone looking at pears, somehow they look SO MUCH BIGGER than rounds in a pendant! Especially in this design. I remember picking up a white diamond one to try on for shape and would have sworn it was a .6 - .75 and it was .35!! And my girlfriend who was with me could not believe my new .97 wasn't the same size as my 1.5 solitaire. If princess cuts look smaller than their equally weighted counterparts, pears have MUCH more presence than rounds! She said it also has to do with weight distribution and that there is much more flexibility in what is considered an ideal cut in coloured diamonds - they are cut first to show off the brilliance of the colour, where as rounds are very specific in their stats.

I always thought the halo was too much. The bezet was just beautiful on its own.... which was my inital recommendation to you...

Jen, no i do not think it looks dark at all! I am a big fan of fi but your fv is just scrumptious. I especially believe it looks better due to the all yg setting. I feel fvs in the white diamond soleste setting might be too much due to the contrast of colors but you did wonderfully! It is just beautiful!
