OMG!! How to clean juicy couture velour? SOS

I am having the same problem with a pink juicy bag and thought I would let you know what I am doing to remove the stains. First, I completely covered it in SHOUT (you can buy that anywhere) and let it set in overnight. Then I took a damp cloth and wiped down the area along with some TIDE and blow dried it the opposite direction I wiped it down. Do not rub in the stain it will change the texture of the bag. It was a really bad stain and now 80% of it is gone. For the remainder, I will repeat. Until it's completely gone. Someone once told me to spray windex on it but haven't yet tried that.

I see that some people are saying to take it to a dry cleaner. I highly recommend NOT doing that unless they have experience cleaning velour. I took my Juicy handbag to a well known cleaner here and they absolutely ruined it and will do nothing to replace the bag. I even complained to the BBB about the incident and they said there's nothing they can do. All they did was refund my $20 that I spent to get the bag cleaned. So much for the first gift I ever got from my boyfriend. :'(

I will definitely try the other ways mentioned on this site for my other Juicy bags though. I will never take them to the cleaners again! It makes me so sad to even think about how awful my bag looked. The smooth texture was gone, the leather had stained the pink around the edges. Just awful!

^ I think the dye remover might also remove the original dye on the velour. Unless someone else has actually tried that and it worked with Juicy velour, I would hesitate to try that. Sorry, I don't have a better alternative. Good luck!

Hum... she's in Seattle. Maybe you could call and see if you can mail it to her? Let me know if you want her number and I can send it to you. It's a home so I couldn't get it to you till later tonight.

I found her through a Nordstrom, so maybe if you go to your nearest Nordies and ask the handbag dept if they can recommend a cleaner in your area?
hey can i get the info for that lady that cleans JUICY bags in SEATTLE? whats her price range? THANKS A MILLION...

If you live near a city call around to different DRY CLEANERS they usually have SPECIALIST that specialize in cleaning name brand purses. If they cant clean it they wont they will give it back. You cannot dryclean velour material but it can be hand washed very carefully. call around and ask if they clean velour material mention it is a purse and it is juicy or whoever. Also here is a website i found if you want to mail your handbag this lady has been doing this for a long time :yahoo:

Has anyone tried using a Tide pen to spot clean? I used it on my velour pants and it worked pretty well (I think it lightened the bright pink a teeny bit, but not that badly).

I figured it out (cleaning Juicy terry)
I know there was a thread recently on cleaning Juicy bags.

Well, I did what I KNEW I shoudlnt and I put that spot carpet cleaner on it and it turned the ends yellow from the cardboard.

Tonight, I have found a solution!

there are 2 things I tried.

1. Oxi-Clean Spray-A-Way
2. Tide To Go

Neither of these need to be rinsed out.

And here is the photo. You can see the yellow. The clean spot on the left is the Oxi and the one on the right is the Tide.

They both left a slight flowery fragrence, so if that bothers you then I dont recommend this.

They are both small bottles, so it might cost a bit to clean an entire bag.

I would take it to the cleaners... I tend to retire my juicy bags when they start to get dirty and drop them off at the cleaners then they are never revealed again.... hahahaha

Hey all! I have a light pink bowler handbag. I've had it for about a year, and it's gotten quite dirty from wear and tear. I would love to clean it, but I don't know how, due to the leather handles and accents. What's the proper way to clean these handbags? Thank you in advance!
