Hey lovely people...my SA texted me last night with "I have a question for you; give me a call when you get a chance."

My SA has never texted with this straightforwardness/seriousness or the pretense of calling. We usually casually text back and forth, or we have something to tell each other---we'll just pick up the phone and call. Silly me didn't have my phone closeby at the time or have the volume turned up--so totally missed the text this whole time.

Do you think this could mean something exciting is coming? Am I about to get an offer?
I'm losing my mind with anticipation (nail biting)

What are your thoughts?

I'd just be like...can you please text me?
(Tbh, he'd probably never ask me to give him a call, he knows how busy I am at work, and I'm sure likewise.)

The only time my SA texted me and asked me to call her was to ask me if I'd prefer a K32 in noir GHW or a B30 in Gold GHW...I'd imagine that 'out of the ordinary' communication pattern would signal an out of the ordinary communication!
