mrss, I agree with you, as you are one of the kind tPF members who spend their own valuable time to post on the authenticate thread, I think it would be of your interest to know the persons /resellers concerned.

As to the other disrespectful members, NO!! its not a police investigation, just another valuable piece of information!!

I think you should think about the consequences of your actions. A very reputable reseller's entire livelihood and the livelihood of his/her employees hangs in the balance here. Do you really think it is fair, because of one misunderstanding that ended with the complete satisfaction of the client, to damage his/her reputation permanently on this forum?

I, for one, think this issue should be laid to rest and that the "investigation" should stop here. This is Xiao Xiao's request and we should honor it.

Yesterday after I got my deposite check, my friend and I went straight to buy buy baby and I used it to splunge on diapers and formula LOL! I am truly so happy and glad that we could go through this whole thing together. Let me just say one more thank you for all your well wishes and help.

LOL I know... Its just initally we wanted to go to Madison to buy up a storm. But then we changed out minds to "splunge" on our baby instead. We were totally making fun of ourselves on how motherhood changes your priority.

The economy has changed. I have seen businesses go bankrupt in the last few months that I never dreamed would happen. As someone on here pointed out, the resellers are only as good as their last transaction. Even if they have years of good business practices, doesn't mean things haven't turned for the worse recently. Just be very careful.

I am so happy for you that the outcome was positive.

I would also hope that to prove her goodwill she showed you the receipt from Hermes they give you to show that you've requested the services with an invoice number on it, just so that you'll know she did indeed send the bag there.

Perhaps this thread would be well served by being moved to the shopping section where we discuss consignment sellers? I think it would be a great reference thread for members.
