ok not ebay but PAYPAL Q!! ABOUT LIFTING $500 withdraw limit!?!?

Hi everyone thanks for your help in advance, i dont know so much about paypal ive only been using it a few months

but it says i have a $500 withdraw limit but that it can be lifted if i add a CC or confirm my SS #

i dont have a credit card really and so i dont want to do that

BUT IS IT SAFE TO PUT MY SOCIAL SECURITY # INTO PAYPAL THROUGH THE COMPUTER?!?!??!?

please advice ?! have you done it , is it ok?

I did it and nothing bad happened. If you are selling something that is more than $500 and you want to be able to transfer it all to your bank account then it must be done.

I lifted it with a debit card that doesnt have more than $5 inside.

If you have a debit card that will work, otherwise you ss number should be fine, it's all on a secure website

Meh. I wouldn't give them your SS # since if a buyer does a chargeback this will put your account in a negative, and if you don't pay the balance, and Paypal has your social security number they can go after you via creditors (and can hurt your credit score). So I'd be really leery since there are a lot of scammers out there. Hope this helps!

Dont want to scare , but there not the rosy organization we all think they are there not a bank , so dont have to abide by banks regulators
