OMG! I'd SO be up FedEx's butt about this. Just call them and be like, "I HAVE to have it this weekend. WHY do you think Coach uses you? Fast delivery, not WRONG delivery!" I mean, go off. It'll get something done. ::hugs!::

So you don't live in an apartment complex? I'm kinda confused...how did someone else sign for it? Do you live alone in a big house?

i live in the country and I know all of my close neighbors but they took it to the wrong address and they got a signature but I do not know anyone by the name that signed for my package. they may live on my road, but have not heard from anyone. I called Coach and they said that it is between FedEx and Me. This could take a while to get resolved.

Can they tell you the address, or if you know the name can you look it up and go there yourself if you have to?
This sounds like it is going to end up being a big pain. If this person who signed for it doesn't cough it up is FED EX the one that has to pay the money to replace, I am sooo confused.

Can FedEx tell you the address it went to? Maybe the same thing that happened to me just happened to you and the driver didn't know?

The address mine was addressed to was in my town...

Or, maybe you got the wrong tracking #?? When I was a consultant for Longaberger that happened about 10% of the time -- the tracking # given to me was not mine.

This is why I hate FedEx! Ladies, what I would do if you know they are going to be the ones to deliver it, is to reroute it to the nearest FedEx pickup. I did that with my phone because they screw up so much. They left a tag on my door this week saying they attempted to deliver something twice, but they had no name for who it was for or what it was. The didn't even have the driver's name but he signed the first one  I also suggest emailing them when something like this happens.

Wow you must be so mad ! Fed ex sucks. We live in a busy more urban neighborhood and the fed ex guy just drops packages off on the sidewalk, runs into his truck and speeds away. If i wasn't home then these packages would just be laying out on the street like a harddrive my husband had shipped that was very expensive that they left outside. I hope you get your bag soon ! I love the slim tote !

I just got off of the phone with FedEx for the 3rd time. They said to hang tight and if I did not get the package by Tuesday that Coach would have to file a claim and it would be up to Coach to reimburse me, because their contract is between them and Coach.
Also, that they delivered the package to "my address" and I said OH NO THEY DID NOT. I have been home all day and the person that signed for it does not live here!

You have way more patience than I do, I would not accept that.....Coach is telling you it is between you and Fed Ex and now Fed Ex is telling you so something different. Fed Ex Screwed up not Coach. I don't understand why they can't tell you where the darn thing went!!

I had the same thing happen last December. It said that the package was delivered and signed by someone I don't even know. It turned out that they delivered it to the Coach store in my town, and was signed for by one of their employees. FedEx retrieved the package right away and delivered it the next day. Thank god. :sweatdrop:

I feel your pain. UPS did the same thing with a package I ordered from the Gap. Said they delivered it to my address - without a signature. It wasn't there. The UPS "customer service" guy I talked to refused to write up a claim for the package, refused to put me through to his supervisor and kept saying, over and over, "it was delivered to your house ma'am." The conversation did not end well - with me screaming at him that I did not receive a package, and ultimately hanging up. I then went online and submitted a claim with UPS. Funny how I could do it online but not over the phone.

Then I called the Gap and they agreed to reship my items - minus the dress I ordered that was no longer in stock. The Gap was awesome, but UPS treated me terribly.
