You may have seen my earlier posts about weird tracking .. Well the box came.

I took pictures but as soon as I get settled down, I'll post them.

First clue the box wastoo small to be the item it was supposed to be.

Inside the proverbial box of rocks... do I claim SNAD through ebay? Or PP?

Are you kidding me?? WOW! I have always been so terrified it would happen to me:sad: You must have been so stunned. I would take pictures with a date stamp asap. If you have a good solid history on ebay that will help in your defense. I can't believe it. May I ask what the item was you purchased and the seller?? Please let us know what happens. I think I would be passing out right now. Take a deep breath and know we are all hear to support you.

If it's an eBay purchase and you're within their time frame file there.

I am so sorry this happened to you. I can't believe the cojones on some of these scammers, I swear!

I think you will be fine but it will likely be a bit of a hassle.

I would just file with ebay... You have the pictures in case they need
them & OP there is no reason I can think of why you would or
should give the seller a heads up on this...

The box does not look like it was tampered with? Any signs
of different tapes being used on the box?

This seller turned out to be some piece of work & when all of this is
settled hope you will leave NEGATIVE feedback & ding all her stars

A seller like this should be NAR'D... no business being on ebay..

A bad communicator & doesn't ship the item you paid for... doesn't get much
worse than this..

You also have buyer protection with ebay... so you will get your money
refunded

I would also suggest getting in touch with the post office.. It appears to be a case of mail
fraud

Ebay will get in touch with the seller & the seller will have a certain amount of time
to respond. If the seller doesn't respond, you can escalate the case..

Again, sorry you have to deal with all this & keep us posted

Do you have to wait to escalate? I thought all you had to do was file SNAD and if the seller doesn't respond you are done.

You could be right... my previous SNAD was a long time ago & just
don't remember all the specifics ( just that seller had to respond within
a certain time frame)

Things may have changed... For the OP's sake, lets hope this is over
& done with asap

I just had a look through your other thread, where the sellers ID was posted.
She did actually sell the object you received (for $110 i must add!)
http://www.ebay.com/itm/DJI-Phantom...pt=Radio_Control_Vehicles&hash=item4adb189ca9

maybe there was a mix up in the postage, and the buyer of that has your bag?
OH NO! I bet the seller mixed up the items. That is a nightmare! Only happened once to me and omg the postage it cost me. I paid for shipping labels for both buyers and now mark the labels. Wow, hopefully it was an honest mistake. Haha I thought you actually received a box with pebbles in it!! Now that you know the item was actually sold I bet it was mix up. I can't understand the lack of communication though. If you sell on ebay it is your duty to check your emails repeatedly while and right after you sell something. Good Luck:smile:

Should I call ebay and tell them that?

No this seller never contacts anyone from what I can see and the phone number doesn't work I tried it before.

I just called ebay... they won't do anything as simple as look up the other buyer we have to wait for the seller to answer.

I think I would just wait & see if the seller responds..

Deal with one issue at a time... If it is a mixup the seller

will work it out with you hopefully before you escalate the case

as the other buyer should have your item hopefully & will be honest

& let the seller know she made a mistake & got the packages mixed up

Others will chime in to share some thoughts... so see what else is discussed

as you may have some other options...
