Thank you [emoji77] You have great taste also! I love your peanut Selma messenger.

I've had both bags. Haven't found a con to the Cindy yet. I really like it, but have not carried it a ton yet because it's still pretty cold here... Waiting for real spring weather [emoji4]

I have a few threads where I've posted pictures of my bags since I started getting into MK last year. I've tried quite a few different sizes and styles to find what works best for me but my fave is probably Selma [emoji16]

Question for you and all other Cindy owners...

Do the handles go all the way down? I can't figure out if the handles are just tight right now and if they will soon be laying against the bag. Right now when I want the handles to go down they don't go all the way.

What I learned recently is that if the rings holding the handles are not squared off then the handles won't lay flat. I've noticed that the handles on my Selmas (square rings) lay flat, but the handles on my Hamiltons (rounded D rings) don't lay as flat.

No, they don't. This is one of the reasons that I returned mine. However, they are so pretty that I'm reconsidering.....:graucho:

Yes my Cindy has the rounded D rings! I thought it was just my bag that did that, I was a bit confused. I noticed the handle in the back lays flatter than the one on the logo side. Do the handles on your Hamilton bother u at all? I carried Cindy today and found it to be quite comfortable regardless

I was nervous too but got used to it quickly after using mine today. Are u considering large again or medium? Pale blue would be so pretty..or just a large black one, reminds me of the alma in Ubos avatar!

Medium. I'm leaning towards smaller bags these days. I'm not sure of color though. And yes, pale blue is gorgeous....[emoji3]

No, the handles on my large n/s Hamilton totes don't bother me too much. They do go down, they just don't lay perfectly flat against the bag. :smile1:

How do you wear your Hamilton using the long strap? I mean do you leave the handles up or do you try to push it down?
I have a E/W version and am having trouble with the handles when using the long strap.......:thinkin:

I always put the handles down when using the long strap. I don't like the look of upright handles when carrying bags on the shoulder. On the Hamilton, they don't lay perfectly flat against the bag, but it's okay because they do stay down. I store my Hamiltons in linen sweater boxes with the handles down, so I think I've "trained" them to stay down pretty well. :smile1:

Carried my large pale blue Cindy today :D

I haven't used blossom Cindy in about a week now, so she's been in her dustbag. I pulled her out today just to look at her because I love the color and I wanted to admire her (lol) and I noticed the handles were all the way down! I remember finding it annoying when I was carrying it crossbody or with the shoulder strap that the handles wouldn't stay down all the way. Not sure what happened but I'm happy! For anyone thinking the handles don't stay down, they do, it just takes some time (about 2 weeks in my case)!!!

I am mad!!! Just opened the box and look how my fuschia Cindy arrived!! Macy's is the worst!! [emoji21]View attachment 3028769View attachment 3028772
