To anyone that owns the medium or large satchel - when worn with the long strap do the short straps stick up/out from being pulled by the clasp of the long strap? Is the strap long enough to cross body?

I have a medium Cindy. I can't wear it comfortably crossbody. Yes, the short straps do pull up when using the long strap.....
