So Anesu posted a YouTube video today. Yikes! :whut:

I hope Moynat has a good 2024 and can change her mind. Sometimes being silent doesn’t work well for a brand in a social media era.

I found out about Nicholas Knightly's departure on here. I do wonder why they are being silent about it... 🤷‍♀️

There's no denying that Ramesh brought freshness to the handbag world with his versatile designs. If you want to admire some of the older designs, see this thread: https://forum.purseblog.com/threads/ramesh-nairs-designs.1041110/

I believe the brand isn't necessarily in trouble, but there's an opportunity to strike a balance by reviving popular older styles while also introducing new ones.

Thank you for the reminder link to the beautiful bags. Look at this beauty!

Thank you for posting this as I am new to the brand it was very helpful. There is a blue Rejane bag pictured in some of the posts. OMG how I would love to get my hands on that color.

I know they are making them in Italy too, so if you are looking for a made in France bag you might not get one.

Only a couple of bags are made in France. I’m unsure if that’s longterm.

So happy to hear they are listening. I hope they reissue some of their older bag styles from Ramesh. Specifically the Limousine, Pauline or Danse....just in case they are reading this.

I wish these bags would come back, too. But I’ve been told none of these are coming back. The Gabrielle is their focus.

This is my old Limousine. I’m angry at myself for not keeping it. It would be the perfect bag for my lifestyle right now.

I think I saw this somewhere but was not sure does Moynat have sales?

Occasionally Moynat has past season bags on sale.

While we are taking a stroll down memory lane, I wouldn’t mind seeing a revival of the Tango either, which I believe launched nearly ten years ago.

I do not carry small bags very often, but of the small bags that I do own, I think the Tango is my absolute favorite. The metal “bridge” handle is so unique and really elevates the bag.

Given that the small bag trend continues to linger, I could see this bag being quite popular today amongst the newest generation of Moynat fans.

I could kick myself for not buying the mini vanity when Ramesh was at Moynat.
I think they were pieces of art (obviously not practical) and of course, I don't think now Moynat has the band-width or expertise to make them the way they used to be made (eg. with marquetry, etc...).

I once had the same feeling, but you can find them from time-to-time on resale websites for a pretty good discount.

This right here is my fear of selling bags. Though I currently don't have any bags I sold that I regret, other than my B. But I would never use that bag as it's just too recognizable. Sorry you sold this and wish you hadn't. It is a beauty. Hoping M or JD come up with something similar this year.
