Hello! I will be in Paris this coming weekend, and thinking about purchasing the Camera Bag in leather. Does anyone have any gripes with this bag? Used experience so far? Any thoughts or feedback would be greatly appreciated

Might as missed it, but where did you get it? I stopped paying attention to Moynat for awhile to play the H game but Gaby has always been on my list. Should have bought it when I had the chance!

at Saks on Fifth Avenue in NYC. They don’t have them on display any more but they still have some Gabys in the back store room. The Gaby is also still available as an SO but I think they charge an additional 20% premium for an SO
I SO’d one back in 2020 and it was $5300 without tax. Tax would be an extra 7.75%. HTH!

I love my M camera bag in gris tourtorelle color. I would consider it of small bag capacity: it holds my flip phone, small compact wallet, and LV mini pochette easily. Because you carry it upright, probably best to keep items in pouches etc and not too loose. I love that it has a handle on top. Strap is comfy!

I have the Camera Bag in the taurillon leather. It’s very light and comfortable to wear. I’m a guy so my frame is probably a little wider and it’s comfortable crossbody as well. Fits my keys, smaller wallet, and iPhone 13 Pro with room for a bit more but I don’t carry a ton with me. I might get another one in the canvas.
The only thing I’ve noticed is that when I know I’m gonna be using my phone a lot, I’ll just put it in my pocket instead of getting it in and out every time; I’m also partial to big tote bags. You could probably keep the top part unzipped and just reach in and out for your phone but that’ll likely stain the leather at the top with your fingers always rubbing on it.

taurillon means young bull, so yes, calfskin.
that is one pretty bag at a great price.
I'm not sure there is an authenticator for Moynat (paid or otherwise) as it is a young-ish brand and relatively few buyers compared to other luxury French brands. x

The Exhibition bags have begun trickling into the stores. New York has sold out of their in-stock bags, but I was told, if you’re interested, preordering for the next shipment is possible. The photo is courtesy of Curtis.
My SO surprised me with this to match my camera bag and He thought I could also use it as a clutch for a wedding we have in May. I was delighted that the French names for the colors (light pink on the inside) are Souris/Petal which the English tag said is Mouse/Petal.
