Congratulations on both of your bags! Moreau really is so under the radar and I love that about them. The quality is also on another level for the price. As far as I know, they are one of the last four that still does hand stitching (Hermes, Moynat, Delvaux, and Moreau). I often just stare at my Bregancon my boyfriend gifted me because I think it’s so beautiful. Funny you mention it, but yesterday I walked into the room I keep my bags in (all Moreau and Loewe) and I stopped and noticed the entire room smelled like leather! Awesome! Enjoy your bags!This was my first Moreau bag, and it is what sold me on this brand. The craftsmanship is excellent, and I love that these bags are a bit under the radar, and incredible value for money IMHO. It's the Faubourg 49 in black bullskin with contrast stitching. I love it so much I sometimes sit it on my desk while i'm working from home and gaze at it.(I also can't stop smelling it.)

I decided to keep the Saint Tropez Tote - I decided I had a use for it given it’s waterproof. It had its first outing last night as an overnight bag, with a heavy laptop (I had an 8pm meeting with a vendor colleague in Ireland), and the handles didn’t break, nor did the canvas tear.
I’m going to call that a win.
I also whacked it on the mantle as I went out the door, and scraped it on the pole of the carport as I went to my car, and not a scratch so far. I’m super clumsy, so if this bag can survive me, then I’d say it’s very robust. I also took it on a shopping outing to the city (Sydney) and it literally fit a shoebox in it. It’s rather spacious, but still lightweight. And I love the wicker basket like monogram. Both my BFF’s commented on it last night and said how nice they thought it was. I shall keep using it and report back on the wear and tear.

Thank you so much! I’m glad I’m not the only one who loves to smell their handbags, or stare at them . I also love they’re under the radar - that’s a major plus for me. They’re fantastic value for money - so well made. The brown Mune should be here on Monday. I’ll post some pics when I receive it. ☺️

I have 1 Moreau bag. Leather is buttery soft and it’s very well made bag.

I talked to the SA via email. She recommended the Vincennes in small size. She said the name is quite misleading because the tote bag is actually not small at all. It is spacious and similar in size compared to Neverfull MM. She was right! I am soooo glad I bought the Vincennes tote bag in white with brown shoulder straps. I received my tote bag the other day and love it! The leather is super soft but sturdy. The shoulder straps are super thick and sturdy (much sturdier compared to my Neverfull MM). This will allow me to rotate between Vincennes and Neverfull. Still love my Neverfull, but it is good to have another one to rotate.You will love it, PineappleMinnie.
Beautiful! What model is this, I don't see it on the Moreau site. Did you get it at their Paris store?
Their website is an afterthought. They have a very limited inventory on there. I had great experiences doing distance sales and the SA’s were very friendly; probably the friendliest luxury store experience I’ve had. They sent me as many pictures as I asked for, showed me different things that aligned with my taste, and sent modeling pics.
The only thing I will say is that they didn’t seem open to transferring from another boutique. I really wanted something green from the Houston store and they told me they didn’t have any and that was that. The Miami boutique (no longer there) didn’t have a wallet I wanted and they left it at that.
I agree that the sizes are more ample than expected. My PM bags are usually more than enough for me.
