Although I do have a nice relationship built with my SA, seeing the professional pictures does help between decision making. I am in love with the brand and their items. They are all such great quality. I’m so glad I’ve been able to build up a little collection.
I will post a picture of my collection after I open my new gift so I can include it. The Moreau shopping bag is flat out flirting with me from underneath the tree.

This thread is so enabling! I never knew of this brand before and now I’m very interested in learning more. I went to their website but didn’t see and info about a boutique in Miami or a way to design your own.

Sadly, the website redesign got rid of a ton of the history of the brand and I also do not see the area where they had the custom bag tool. It’s a very interesting choice because I felt like they could have added the e-commerce to the regular website.
However, yeah I was told by my SA at the Houston boutique that the Miami store closed down. Very recently too.
I did notice that there is a new material on the site called something “ette” and I have no idea what that is. I assume it’s their new Vuitton like coated canvas but all my bags are either leather or jacquard.

Thanks for the info.....I thought I was losing it. After some online research, it looks like there was one in San Francisco a few years ago but that is also sadly closed.

Yes! I was literally in the middle of tinkering with the custom bag design tool when they updated the website. I'm not really a big fan of the new website but their new St. Tropez bag looks tempting. I just hope they continue the customization feature via phone or in store.

According to Marie Claire French magazine, Moreau is working on their new website and we’ll soon be able to customize their bags via the site.:smile:

The pink, yellow, and blue pouch is also really special because I fell in love with that color combo (Male who lives for pinks) but I knew I would get the bag dirty from the light colors. So my boyfriend surprised me with the pouch :) All in all, I think I covered all my Moreau bases pretty well.

Sorry, I didn’t see you mention the St. Tropez bag. I was also really tempted at first to place a preorder but (!!!!) I’m obsessive and I was looking at the pics online: check out the really thin stitching on the handles and such. Further, look at the abysmal stitching done inside the bag for the little pocket thing. It’s shameful.

Ah I see it too. That makes me sad...will stick to the full leather options.

Apologies for not replying until now…! I only saw this question now - but Moreau held a sample sale in London in the Fall at the Music Room of some older stock …..not sure if they will have another one however….by the time I got there most of the items were gone but they did have a few choice pieces leff like this shoulder bag…. It is a deep petrol blue :smile:
