@iggybedora Sorry to completely jump into your comment but the Moreau boutique in Houston (only one in US now?) regularly has deals going on. I follow them on Instagram and they recently had 15% off purchases. After Christmas, they posted a handful of Bregancons at a discount and when I messaged them, they offered me a PM Bregancon of the ones they posted for $1050 from $2600. Just a little heads up.

Is this about the same size as LV Neverfull MM? I have the LV Neverfull MM, which I love and use all the time. However, I am now looking for another tote that I can rotate and that's more understated. It's difficult to visualize the sizing without actually trying it on.
The bag seems to be very soft (thin leather). How sturdy is it? I have also been wanting the Goyard Artois MM for a long time, but there are no Goyard stores in my city. Godard is canvas vs. Moreau is leather...

Not sure about the size comparison but the leather is sturdy, definitely not thin. I have the MM size and it's pretty spacious. I can easily carry a 14" MacBook Pro

I have had the Vincennes ( the vertical model) for years and I can tell you the leather is very soft but not fragile at all

I have the Vincennes mm all leather reversible. It is very well made and leather is not flimsy at all. The leather is soft and the tote is large and malleable (for it to be reversible) and it has a bigger capacity than my neverfull mm. It’s a bit on the heavier side once loaded and I actually prefer my Moreau celestin pm which holds a lot and is light. I had the goyard Artois mm which I just sold after I recently bought the goyard St. Louis Claire voie pm. The artois is a bit too stiff and structured to my taste.
I second all the past comments on the sturdiness of the Moreau bag. Honestly, I wouldn’t even put them in the same comparison. To me, the Neverfull is closer to the Celestin (made out of jacquard). I have the Vincennes MM and it would definitely handle what you want. Mine is made out of the Taurillon leather and it’s pretty slouchy but beautiful! I have a different one made from the printed leather which is goat and that is much lighter but still slouchy. Good luck choosing just one!
Hi Moreau bag lovers! I recently received the Saint Tropez GM tote and wanted to provide some info for those who are on the fence about this one. I bought it off Farfetch at a great price(AUD$887), however it was advertised as being 100% leather - which it's not. (I know...at that price, if it's too good to be true it probably is!) It's coated canvas with leather straps and trim. The handles are very substantial and have been hand stitched, the rest of the bag has been machine sewn. It's made in Italy.
The canvas is very thin and flexible, it really is just like a coated fabric. The coating is slightly shiny, textured, and looks to be quite robust - time will tell on this one though. (I have no experience with coated canvas bags so can't really compare it to anything else.) This bag is incredibly light - which is actually a plus for me. It has a massive zipped pocket on the inside, made off the same coated canvas. It's also waterproof - so would be a great bag to take out when it's pouring with rain. (I just also bought a YSL shopping tote to use as a work bag in Taupe, and wouldn't want to get that soaked going to and from the car to the office etc). It would also make a great beach bag, which is what Moreau is aiming the advertising towards. I'm might reach out to Stéphane my SA in Paris and ask how durable the canvas is supposed to be. I don't know if i'm going to keep it or return it yet, I've given myself until Monday to decide.

This was my first Moreau bag, and it is what sold me on this brand. The craftsmanship is excellent, and I love that these bags are a bit under the radar, and incredible value for money IMHO. It's the Faubourg 49 in black bullskin with contrast stitching. I love it so much I sometimes sit it on my desk while i'm working from home and gaze at it.

I have just ordered this from the Paris store and it's on it's way to me in Australia. It's a new model called the Mune and I ordered it in the brown calfskin. (These are the pics that the SA Stephane sent across from the store). Once my bank account has recovered from my recent handbag splurge (cha-ching!), i'm going to enquire about having some custom bags made. I'm after a black leather clutch on a chain for evening, a cream/white leather handbag, and a taupe leather handbag.

I have just had a look at Moreau and Farfetch sites.
As you said, Cartierlove, Farfetch advertises your bag as being 100 % leather, which it isn’t, whereas Moreau describes the external material of the same tote as Moreaunette, which is coated canvas.
As you intend on getting in touch with your SA in Paris, I think he will provide you with all the information you need about the coated canvas.
