Will you happen to know whether this colourway is a classic colour or seasonal? In my haste, I did not ask the SA.
From what I recall, the beige is called ‘walnut brown’ and it was a classic colour. Looks like it’s been discontinued for the newer DBs. FLP may have done limited colourways for the DB32, but before 2014. The limited editions since then have only been in the 35 size. The yellow edge paint was considered a seasonal edition back when I bought mine, but it seems as if it was always available. I’m not sure what was going on there :confused1:

I no longer bother asking myself if I ‘need’ new bags and SLGs, lol - the real question is, will you love it and use it? If it’s a ‘yes’ for both, go for it

That's a pity. I thought walnut brown is a pretty neutral. I have yet to finish the entire FLP thread but there were some limited editions which look amazing.

My criteria for a new bag is usability, functionality and versatility. It must be functional enough for me to keep reaching for it. If it goes with anything and everything I wear, then YES!

P.S. I had answered 'yes' to both of your questions.

I was all excited about getting my FLP battle tote but after using it for a few times I found the edges had rubbed off exposing the white leather underneath. The coating is so thin, the leather is white so the marks are very obvious. I'm horrific at the quality, this wasn't heavy use, I babied it, brought it to work, sat it on my lap in transport, sat on desk at work and the edges are still like this. I went to FLP where they said it was normal wear and tear and it was my issue. Told me it would cost $300 euros for them to fix it. I'm so upset that I spent $2600 on this bag to get such bad quality.

That's such a shame. Mine is similar but it's the light grey and underneath so thankfully doesn't show.

Hi,
I understand your frustration, but as a handbag lover, I wanted to share some insights. Unlike other luxury brands, Fauré Le Page leathers are more natural and not plastified, which gives them an authentic and supple feel. However, this also means they can be more sensitive to scratches, much like fine leather shoes.
If you'd like to minimize these marks, there are specific products for leather care that can help. This characteristic is common for high-quality, non-plastified leather, and it’s part of what makes each piece unique.

Hope this helps!

Thank you for your reply. But this tote is marketed as battle tote, supposedly to be used for daily wear. If it is that fragile, they need to rethink their design/material choices or their advertisement. Besides the fact that I babied it and it still scratched, this is more fragile than my dior lambskin. If they knew it was going to scratch badly, they should also think about coloring the leather beneath the edging. so it doesn't show up so badly. This means its ugly and wears badly.

So beautiful! I’m really tempted but I want my next tote to be zipper-closed. Enjoy, it’s really special!
I’ve found my next zip tote, the beautiful French Garden Collection 27 Zip. Does someone have an SA in Paris they could share? All mine have left and I’m not sure the person I’m texting with on WhatsApp from my last SA is actually with the boutique based on their response to my inquiry. Thanks!

Dear FLP gurus.. I'm new with FLP, got my first in the blue boston bag early this year. Then recently got another - daily battle 35 urban knight which I was told only 150 pieces available from the reseller. How do I verify that's true? Thanks.faure_le_page_daily_battle_35__1725005371_bcab51d1_progressive.jpg

Send the question to Arthur on the FLP IG page. May take a few days to respond but it might answer your question. Have you googled it? I found lots of info on my LE from a few years ago.

Thanks! I did a google for more info, but other than its limited, didnt say how many pieces. Reseller said he was informed by the boutique where he bought it. Not that it matter, but was really curious as 150 pieces is really limited (high chance I'll baby the bag lol).

Hi! I recently purchased a DB on the secondary market. It doesn't have the slim interior pocket. Is that common? Just about all I've looked at have it so I'm wondering if this is authentic or if maybe it's just an older bag. As well, the stamp on reverse of the interior label showing 'made in Spain' is upside down. All other markings look legit on the bag though. Any help is appreciated!

Mine wore similarly after using it very occasionally for only 3 months (such as to work once every week or two.) Bothered me so much it’s been in the closet ever since with no use. The leather quality and durability is quite poor, to the point where I’d not buy ever again, although I like the aesthetics.

But lol, this bag goes for $2600 now? That’s a farce.

Reviving this thread 🙋🏽‍♀️🤭

I’ve been wanting the daily battle 27 in blue for a long time. However now on the UK website it’s no longer showing as available 🥲

I am able to find it on 24S. And it’s actually cheaper when taxes are added to get it from 24S!

Possibly pulling the trigger soon but would appreciate any photos of blue FLP in the meantime 🥰
