I fourth that about the Dakotah.
I agree completely. I think Vevers is going overboard as well, and though I LOVE the Rogue, I wish he would start moving on from this "Americana/biker/grunge/Western" feel with the other bags.
I want to see bags that are more modern, professional, and classically elegant, like the Borough bag. The Borough bag was what got me back into Coach after a long hiatus.
Vevers has come out with some nice bags, but I feel like the Coach turnaround was already starting under Reed Krakoff. The Borough bag came out with Krakoff, and the Madison collection from 2013 or thereabouts was really elegant as well.

I just looked at the photos from the other thread (the ones that are in Vogue) and all I could think was 'Yuck!'. I only went through about half the photos before I gave up.....and I don't think that me NOT being young anymore has anything to do with my reaction, most of the stuff just looked tacky to me.
I'm also not interested in the Western/biker look anymore. Pre-fall is looking less like that, though still pretty heavily embellished. I'm excited to see more of what's planned. (A little off topic, I know this is the spring thread, but I wanted to bring in some hope haha)
The bow in the first one looks like Kate Spade. I love the style of the second picture; the embellishments not so much. The style looks very vintage Bonnie Cashin. I don't get the NASA stuff at all. Rockets are one thing, but the word "NASA" does nothing for me.
I want that NASA "space case" bag. Looks cute.
Also saw these today. I love the blue kisslock bag on the bottom right, but I would prefer it without the Rexy on it, though.

Did you see all the colors they have for the Rexy kisslock bag on Coach.com? There are 7 colorways and all are shades of blue and yellow. I bet they will make this silhouette without Rexy later on. It's really tiny.I want that NASA "space case" bag. Looks cute.

Yes I see it now! It's definitely small! Now that I got a good look at it, I'm not a fan of the thin leather straps at all. Way too short to do anything except to hand carry. I sure hope it comes with a long strap. Still cute, though.
