Okay, here are pics of the Tate shoulder bag in Taupe/Granite as well as Blush/Natural.
The bag fits a lot & has a ton of compartments. However, it's not for me (or at least not till they are 50% off sometime down the road
).
The Taupe one had deep wrinkles & a thin slice in the leather on the front as well as a light patch on the back. A reminder of how delicate glove tanned leather can be, though soft & buttery.
I also picked up the men's Gotham 24 bag in Shamrock. Color is gorgeous (although difficult to capture) & the pebbled leather is very pebbled & super soft.

Oh that's too many imperfections for a supposedly new bag! I wonder if the bag was mishandled/used so that it arrived in that condition. I have a smaller glove tanned leather bag in black and it still looks new after a few uses so I'm hoping yours was just a one-off. I misspoke, my apologies. This is the 27. The smaller of the two Gotham bags. Here are the measurements from the site & a mod shot. I'm 5' 7" & 130 lbs.

No, the strap isn't detachable. That's a strap from my hubby's brief bag that matches almost perfectly. That said the original strap is a tad too long for my liking. Like you, I plan to use novelty straps...two of mine compliment it nicely & it hits at a better length. I'll likely take dogleash clips from a men's bag that had the nylon strap & attach them to this, stitch it back up & be good to go!
My main concern before getting it was the width of the straps -- I prefer wider strap to skinny straps, and I thought that tis definitely warranted wider straps.
But I've adored it since I first took it out of the box. It's definitely not an everyday bag, and so far I have used it as a shopper, which suits its size and shape really well. I'm also a total sucker for the oversized hang tag.
I like contrast stitching some of the time, but Coach sometimes overdoes it with the contrast stitching. So far the metals don't come into play as to whether or not I like the contrast stitching.....so far.I don't know why they can't stop using contrast stitching!I don't like the white stitches with brass.

I noticed the Cashin Carry Tote online late one night. Seemed hidden on the site to me. I went to my local boutique and inquired about it and ended up ordering the Red Fruits and Plant Green. I wasn't sure about the Red Fruits when it arrived. Looked too plain to me. Not much red or pink to me. But as I was editing the pics, I took the bag in another room and the pinkness really did start to show so . . . Plant Green is pretty. I took a pic with the limited edition large Coach Forever tote. Name escapes me at the moment. I think these colors may be too similar especially once I pull out my Mickey tote. But I still don't know if it will matter in the end. I did look at an old IG pic and there was another color that did not show up online. I'm quite curious of course.
