Does anyone know how the batteries are on Coach watches? Do they need to be replaced? I ask because I use Citizen eco drive watches, and they do not need battery replacements.

Coach watches are made by Movado. Great quality. You do need to replace the battery but all of mine have lasted a long time before that was necessary.

Coach watches are battery-driven quartz movement, so they will need replacement. It's inexpensive to change a watch battery or you can do it yourself (I do, to save the $20CAD my local department store charges). I have one watch I received for Christmas in 2014? 2015? and I'm just needing to replace the battery now.

I know it doesn’t seem like a big deal, but with some watches I had that were nice once they needed replacing it seemed to get more and more often. And it is just one more thing to find time for. So once I started using Citizen eco drive, I just like not having to do anything. Plus they are beautiful watches. But thanks for the info. I appreciate it!

I understand this completely. My watch wardrobe consists of citizen eco-drives,
Casio g-shock, and swatch sistem 51. They all require no batteries. However I did just buy a coach watch because i liked it.

No, I get it - I wish my Chanel watches are automatic, it's $$$ to get the battery changed. I find though that the trendy watches (like Coach) just don't typically come in automatic... because those movements are expensive. I bought my husband a beautiful Nixon watch which was over $1,000...typically NIxons are only a few hundred.

There are affordable automatics out there! Here's my Seiko 5 automatic. You can get it for like $75 USD (I did change my strap to leather NATO, though). 2146990419.jpeg
