I have figured out, aside from the canvas, what bothers me about these: the patterns plus the screen print remind me of some of the cheaper outlet merchandise. And I hate using that as a pejorative. :(

The only one I can maybe see myself buying is the Rexy one, and even then I’d be careful about where I took it.

Agreed. If they go to 50% off I'd grab the Flax with Penguins or the "granny print" burgundy with Rexy. But at $150 it's just not worth it for me.

Oh MAN, I can't believe they're using those phony serial numbers again!

BK-10115 is a bogus number that Coach pulled out of their arses, like a lot of the bogus numbers they've used in some of the 1941 styles. According to several older posts here at tPF, style 10115 belongs to a Hamptons Scarf Print Tote from around 2006-07, verified in one of their catalogs. And the prefix BK- will never be a legitimate set of production codes.

ETA - and to make it even MORE ridiculous, they're using the same stamped "serial number" BK-10115 in a Mickey Mouse backpack:

I saw that. It's odd that the other drill downs have normal looking creed numbers. Maybe it is only for the drill down and the actual bags have real numbers. We can hope.

See the ETA in my post. :cursing:

What's even more "ironic" - not the word I'd LIKE to use but ... - under the Mickey Backpack "serial number" it's stamped "COACH BAG REGISTRATION NUMBER". Like that number is supposed to be unique to that style or individual bag, or actually MEAN something.

What f****** moron at Coach comes up with these brilliant ideas?

Ugh. I griped on Coach’s FB post re: the canvas totes about the “leatherware” irony and now I find myself really liking the blue Rexy print with stars—I just wish it was on a full leather bag!

The copper sequin version of the Western Bootie is now on the website, so I'm hoping the metallic leather ones will show up soon! I really like both the red and gunmetal, although the gunmetal is the one I would consider buying.
