Official Coach 1941 Spring 2020 Thread

Oh yeah it would be nice to score them just like the vintage ones. There might be some difficulty in finding them or it will be easier if people start listing them as vintage. I saw a listing for a vintage Maggie duffle yesterday where the seller was using Coach's stock photo for the "Restored" collection. (Rest of the pics were of a bag just like it). The seller also claimed the bag was restored. Also said The Coach Originals Style 243.
No Creed photo posted. I didn't ask because I'm not paying $320 for it but I didn't like the confusion created by the whole thing. Was this a bag restored by Coach? Or restored by her? Do these recently Restored bags have anything on the Creed patch to differentiate them from other vintage bags? If not, I'll be staying far away from these "Restored by Coach" bags. I never bought one so I don't know what they came with. Maybe @valv54 knows. I think she went to the event where these were available.

There was nothing in or on the "restored" bags. They had their regular creeds. Frankly, I know we do the same, if not better, job at restoring than they did. Just my humble opinion. However, I'm kinda loving the reboot bags. The holster bag there is killing me.

I actually like the shape of three of those bags. I haven't had a new bag in a while, well, I guess that's kind of a lie. I have bought 2 non Coach bags and immediately returned them. I hate not being able to see a bag before purchasing.

Soft launch mid- to late-January. Full launch in the second week of February coinciding with NYFW.

Sometime there is a delay in the runway products (RTW, some bags) due to the higher quality needed to produce these items.

It will be nice to have some fun colors in the middle of winter! Right now I am deep into fall colors still... and black! I need a pop of color.

ugh, those bags are sooo cute. And so perfect for spring. I think I want one, but I imagine the prices are going to skyrocket like the Originals. Which means it will be out of my price range.

New Rambler crossbody coming out in spring 2020 based on the original large Rambler. They redesigned the flap completely and calling it Rambler. I'm not feeling it. Meh. I wonder if there are other bright colors.

It looks more like a large version of Rambler's Legacy with all the cuteness removed. It doesn't look much like the original Rambler that had the tab with the turnlock. I'm surprised they used that type of strap, missing the opportunity to sell more novelty straps.

To me the stripe cheapens it, and the leather looks SOOOOO stiff compared to the original Rambler! I carried mine all last week and I just love the softness of the original's leather. It makes a larger bag like that very easy to live with. I wouldn't take one of the new versions if someone gave it to me, all the character is gone and it looks very one-dimensional, more "Target" than "Coach".

ETA - And what are you supposed to be able to fit into that flat-as-a-pancake outside front pocket? The gussetted pockets on the original and the Legacy are a hundred times more useful.

I would like it better without the stripes. I think we vintage coach lovers are going to have quite an opinion on spring 2020. My only wish would be that every store had a small, not like pop up size, but just a few, real vintage bags set up in the regular stores. Just so customers could see and feel the actual originals.
