I'm not familiar with the bag you refer to. There are two straps, both completely removable. I suspect if you used the short strap you could carry it very close to you on the shoulder or in the crook of your arm. I will use the longer strap for shoulder or crossbody wear. Both straps are wide & excellent quality. I don't have a great place to take mod shots but I'll see if my hubby will take some later tonight.

Color me heartbroken...Tabby 26 in Kaffe floral arrived today. I won't go into detail other than to say the pictures speak for themselves. Once again, Coach photo accuracy is seriously lacking. I was really very excited for this bag, as I thought the color palette with the dark hardware was absolutely beautiful. I'm really very disappointed. As I've stated here numerous times, I am not a fan of brass/gold hardware so this got immediately packaged back up. I don't understand how you get a photo of a bag with dark hardware but the actual bag has brass. Where's the bag they photographed? I don't get it! Anyway, the details of the painting on the bag is really very pretty and I'm sure those of you who are into the brass hardware will absolutely love the collection. Sadly it won't be for me.
What?!?!?! Main reason I was picking this one was because of the pewter hardware!!!!!! Pewter looked perfect with the colors of the bag. Any chance you got a weird mistake?
Well that's just ridiculous. It even says pewter in the description. I would call to see if you got the wrong bag sent to you.
LOL, from your lips... I will say that it struck me as odd that all of the other Kaffe pieces had the brass hardware. I don't know what to believe to be true until I see it in real life. I did send my SA a photo and I'm curious as his as to their response. I'll let you know! Really bummed though. This lack or accuracy in their photos is growing really old.
I'm on with Coach CS now. She "thinks" there ARE two hardware options (said her system shows two different style #s, off by one #). I'm on hold while she looks into it further. Cross fingers...will post update!
So customer service indicated that no stores in my area have the bag with the pewter hardware. She did ask me to check all the hardware for the bag, including on the straps and it does all have gold. She is going to try and locate stores out of the area that have the bag to confirm there is a pewter hardware option. If she cannot do that, she is going to contact the warehouse and have them check to see if one actually exists (meaning someone grabbed the wrong bag). I will keep you posted on the saga! Unsure if I'll hear back today or tomorrow. I have a headache and need ice cream! Ha!

Lol! I think I like it because I mostly hand carry so I just need a strap to be long enough for random shoulder carrying.
