The Tyson's shop has already received at least 1 spring/summer bag (gorgeous white cervo!). They said they expect the bulk of the items to arrive near the end of the month.

I saw this brunito Montaigne in the San Francisco boutique last week. I own a Nero 'old' Montaigne, and to me it looks exactly the same, without the brunito bars, of course. According to the SA, Nero will be the only color available. I was so happy to see it again, as it is such a terrific bag!

YES - this IS exactly the same size as the old Montaigne! Same lock, fold out sides. No mirror though, and cellphone pocket is larger to accommodate the larger phones.
Beads are hooked into leather, not sewn, and go all the way around. Mine gets here end of next week.

thanks, jburgh! so no chance of the beads falling off? i'm waiting for my spring/summer trunk show order to come before venturing into the BV store, but i might just have to check this out.
I am definitely intrigued (and overjoyed that they apparently have not thrown out the pattern for the original Montaigne!). I am just not sure whether this particular bag is for me, though - partly because I already have so many black bags (four BVs including an original Montaigne, two LVs, two Balenciagas - and even with how much I wear black I already feel that many of them don't get as much use as they really should) and also because I am waiting to see what happens on the special order Knot (and if we are able to go Ostrich, I will want to save my pennies for that...). But I look forward to seeing more pictures and hearing more about it - I may well change my mind!
Right, no chance. I am so glad they were not sewn on...I would need an extra package of them, because you know thread always breaks.
I can do that...post pictures. To me it looks very urban and chic, but not hipster-ish. Honestly, can you ever have too many black bags?
