But I think resell on luxury bags have gone down in general with the slowing of the economy. You can get some deals on birkin and Kelly bags now in SK. Also on watches. My cousin got a great deal on one in SK.
It didn't. If you read in this forum you'll see that prices have been, to the contrary, often very high recently, or at least maintained in price for desirable Bal bags. The low-selling ones now are the same as always, ones in bad or questionable condition.
It can be shocking and distressing to see how much a bag's value drops the moment you remove it from its box, unwrap it from how it was originally wrapped, and cut off the tags. Unless it is a super rare kind special edition of something, that is also in a very pristine condition, expect to lose some money, for bags are just like cars. Their depreciation is fast and substantial in a short amount of time. If one is looking to sell it in the same amount she bought it---or if one is looking to make some profit of it, nine out of ten times, she will end up frustrated.....because she won't. And that is just the way it is in that market.
I actually bought a Balenciaga bag after the “bear” thing, nearly 10 years after my first Balenciaga bag purchase. I think some people are over sensitive, I don’t see anything wrong with the bear design.
