GORGEOUS additions, MaiTai, yummmmy!

and robee - how can you be so cute?? LOVE the Farandole twice around your waist - great looks, all of them!

I did a search through old threads yesterday (trying to justify and determine the worth of a mousseline GM purchase :sweatdrop: ) when I came upon these pics of diva (last summer I think) and had to repost her beauty here:

they're a little blurry (I think she said they were taken with her phone), but I think you'll agree her fabulousity shines through nonetheless!

I would love to know how you did these looks, diva - magnificent!

Katel-I'm here looking through & there I am:nuts:.I hate to dissapoint you but the 1st pic are 2 scarves tied together(Les Flacons & Carre & Carres). The other one is my Early America GM.If you take the 2 ends of the shawl & tie it behind your neck it makes a long look,if you fold it more & then tie it behind your neck it will make it look more like a vest. MaiTai taught us how to do it!For the 2 scarves together as a top you take each scarf & fold it in half to form a triangle shape. Then you take each long scarf end & twist it then tie it behind your neck. Now on your sides you have 2 pointy ends to the scarf & make a small knot on your back.On the front grab enough scarf material to loop through a horn scarf ring one going one way & the other scarf vice versa. There you have it!I'm sorry for the quality of the pic,you are right,it was taken with a phone.:smile1:

Super idea for a thread, Katel! It's great to have all these fabulous inspiring looks in one place. Although I tend to use the weave method the most with my cashmere/silk GMs, here are a couple of other ways that I have worn them.

1. Blue Axis Mundi worn as a draped triangle down the back and belted

2. Damier tied as a vest

3. Damier worn as a hip wrap

LQYB, always lovely! Here's a GM cashmere cocoon in action - so beautiful worn both ways (but it has been said you would be stunning in a sack and I do believe that!)

(p.s. who makes this gorgeous grey (tweed?) sheath - LOVE it)

WoWzA Paulliac!!

This picture haunts me with its beauty! I have to restrain myself each time I see it (I want that GM mousse sooo much!!) Did you fold in a bias and loosely twist, then knot so the ties/ends go down your back (or maybe tuck the ends in these loops)? however it was accomplished, it is truly CHIC.

and this Brides Rebelles is also folded/worn in a unique way....GORGEOUS!

stunning variation on the cowboy - soooo beautiful!
