THANK YOU for your constant generosity with these picture, robee!! words fail me - so much to say here...

I would also like to understand what you did with the camoflage GM mousse - I kind of do, but - would you consider a pic tutorial of this style, pretty pls? :tender:

thank you for showing the Folklore - this is my first glimpse of it in the GM mousse, really striking. Wonder what other colorways it comes in? Pink would be deadly...

LOVE the navy (?)/white Collection Equestre you are wearing - love the weave knot here on you and LOVE how your Muse buckle is showcased (lookin pretty slender there baby! )

Super idea for a thread, Katel! It's great to have all these fabulous inspiring looks in one place. Although I tend to use the weave method the most with my cashmere/silk GMs, here are a couple of other ways that I have worn them.

1. Blue Axis Mundi worn as a draped triangle down the back and belted

2. Damier tied as a vest

3. Damier worn as a hip wrap

whooooHOOOO MaggieD! sooooo great to see you babe!!!

You are totally styling here - I am completely bowled over by your Damier - wow wow WOW! Can't wait to try this with my Damier. Love the hip wrap too, very much, and the belted look - altogether tres tres chic!

DiamondS, can I just pls take my hat off to you dear?!?!?

Your GM collection is astounding and we are soooo fortunate that you share your snaps with us - your pics alone are a stylebook in itself - so may I say THANK YOU DEAR DiamondS!! from all of us!!

what a wealth of ideas and eye candy, thank you all so much for sharing your pics - I never knew there were some of these wearing/knotting styles available - and I know there are lots more out there - can't wait to see them!!

Thank You dear diva for answering my question about the way you are wearing your twills and GM as a top. I must go investigate MaiTai's threads to find how she ties the long vest this way (LOVE it!!).

Your twills-as-a-shirt is beautiful! You should post that in the how to wear scarves as clothing thread (maybe you have already, apologies if so)

http://forum.purseblog.com/hermes-r...aring-scarves-clothing-no-chatter-496170.html

and this leads me to why I started to post here this am......

robee has been wearing the pleated twill and I wonder if it can be done with a PM or GM cashmere?

I LOVE this unique look, regardless, went looking for her instructions and sure enough, she took the time to create and post them (thank you thank you robee!!)

Copying and pasting from her silky journey thread (I hope that is OK, robee?)

Step 1 - pleat the scarf around 2 inches wide, choose a scarf with border if possible

attachment.php

Step 2 - pleat the whole scarf
attachment.php

Step 3 - tie a single knot
attachment.php

Step 4 - ruffle it
attachment.php

Single Knot - make sure the front is slightly shorter than the back to have a cascading effect

Beautiful modelling of the KenC Shawl by my lovely coll.

Wear it like a cardigan - fold it half into a triangle, drape it over your shoulders, and bring the two ends to the back and knot it.

I have craving for Macdonald's Ice Lemon Tea. While waiting for it, salivating at the cakes. Spy pic by coll :p
KenC Shawl

Wear as a wrap around - fold 1/3 into a triangle and just drape around the shoulder and it is a nice big wrap.

Katel, as requested

Single Butterly Knot - This knot works for light-weighted silks as the knot will slip if the material is heavy.

pardon the PJ model aka robee and non-H mousseline
I only own MQ mousseline :p

Step 1 - this works beautifully for GM mousseline
Pick up one end of it
attachment.php

Step 2 - drape it over your shoulder
attachment.php

Step 3 - Kriss cross the mousse
attachment.php

Step 4 - Put you hand through pick up one side
attachment.php

Step 5 - Pull your hand back and tighten the knot by pulling down the longer end
