Ode to the Victoria

Feeling all the good feels today. Ive been a long time TPF lurker, trying to find the right bag/color/hardware combo. I’m happy to introduce a new-to-me 2015 gold Victoria. This was my second try at the Victoria. It’s been a while since I sold my (first try) étoupe version. I forgot how soft and mushy this bag is! The gold color feels more like me for a neutral than the étoupe did. I love the warmer tone.
Now the real important question: what Hermes bag should be next?!

Such a great bag. I had one once in etoupe and also sold it. Always wanted one in gold.

Love your gold Victoria!
Now that you've had a chance to use it for a few months, what are your impressions?

Hi everyone! I am looking to buy a pre-owned Etoupe Victoria 35 stamp L (2008) and the seller is asking for $2500. It is in good condition without box. Is this a good price considering the age of the bag? i enjoy seeing your pictures with the Victoria. Thank you for your time and your help

I am new to H bags (though have been buying jewelry and silks for years). To be honest, I’m not crazy about H bag styles, though I wouldn’t turn down a Kelly! 😊

The Victoria is now on my radar, and this thread has been quite helpful. My dilemma: whether to go for a nice, neutral color, ie: Etoupe, gold….or for a bit more saturated, fun color. I tend toward neutrals and mainly black, though I do have one red Gucci bag and a pale sage-colored BV. I really don’t need any more black bags.

Gold feels like what I want. But I just found a beautiful Agate Blue on a reputable resale site. It’s so pretty and different from any other color I have in my closet. I’m just afraid to be boxed in by such a vibrant color… in terms of what I can wear with it.

Anyone have anything in Agate Blue? Is this bag a good intro into H bags? I like the under-the-radar vibe, as far as it being a style less seen. Any thoughts at all are welcome. Thanks!

I like the Victoria in both neutral colors and pops.
When I use it as a travel bag, I prefer a neutral color. However when I use it around town as a day bag, I like a pop.

Because it’s a large bag, it’s a big pop of color so I recommend that you think about where you would enjoy carrying a large blue bag, what you would wear with it, etc.

I have an acquaintance who carries a gold Victoria and it is a really gorgeous bag.

Good luck with your decision making! The right bag will find its way to you.

Thank you! It’s a beautiful blue, so I pulled the trigger. We’ll see how I feel when it comes. It will mostly be a day bag, and I love big bags. I’ll sit with it for a while to see if it’s too much color for me. :)
