Hello ladies! Does anyone find that the interior of Victoria is too roomy and difficult to manage? I do not carry too many things but I like the look of Victoria. I am going to Paris soon and still deciding between victoria vs garden party 36. Which one would be a nice 1st Hermes? Choosing the colour would be another headache 😁. I too would want to maintain a facade of quiet toiling but its harder than i thought 😝

Depends on what you want it to "do": workhorse bag? diaper/small kid bag? travel purse? shopping tote? casual weekender? How important is security to you where you intend to use it? Does it need to be lightweight? Also, try both of them on if you absolutely need it to be shoulder-held, since I´ve read the Vic´s handles can be a bit tight over a winter coat!

I was hesitant too between the GP, the Evelyn, the Jypsière and the Victoria. Ultimately, the double zipper and the lightness of the Victoria (cotton lining as opposed to leather) were the deal-breakers for me. Still waiting for a Rouge H or orange shade to come out to snatch it up :-) GLD!

Hello everyone! I'm new to PurseForum and to the Hermes forum. I don't own any Hermes handbags currently - just a couple of Clic Clacs, but I really like the Victoria and I'm saving up to buy one someday. I love how understated and practical it is. I've been drooling at all the photos of your gorgeous Victorias...
Hopefully I'll get to join this club with one of my own one day! :D

Herzlich Willkommen! We are goal twins, LOL - the Vic is also the first H bag I am saving for (unless a clemence Rouge H bolide in mint condition pops up preloved first). As Victoria purses almost never land in a consignment shop, I´m aiming at purchasing it in the H boutique in Vienna or Brussels, wherever a dark warm red (rouge venitien, rouge H, braise or vermillion) arrives first. So welcome, I´m cheering on in your goal, and I wish you a happy and successful saving so that you may soon have your very own Victoria!

Depending on whats are your need and preferences
Vic is a zipper bag
Gp is an open tote
I find both base are ok not too broad or stiff
I like vic bit more coz with zipper and feet
Gp toile and full leather compartments are totally different
Go take a look
I have prob to shoulder gp with winter coat
However vic length is totally fine
If you find vic too roomy
Have a second look at vic elan
Both are very understated bags
I will go for pop unique color
To bring out its style
Hardly get color transfer issue too because of short handles
Best of luck to you

I am leaning more towards GP since I'm worried that Victoria will look ginormous on me as I'm only 5'2" plus I live in the tropics and there's no problem about winter coats. Oh well, hopefully I'll be able to decide if I can try both on in H boutique. Thanx for your input 😊

I saw a bicolor Vic today. Was intrigued. It was a blue/black combo. I also heard there was gold/orange and gris perle/etoupe. The SA wasn't too sure about the last color combo I mentioned but I'm definitely intrigued.

Hello ladies! I'm back from London-Paris trip and managed to snap up a Victoria in Fire (orange) colour. There was no GP available at all in both the HQ in Paris and Bond Street branch that I went to, on the day I went to anyway. I must say that shopping in Paris wasn't easy with small kids in tow and we had to queue to get to speak to an SA😓. Not to mention lugging it halfway across the world home 😎 Hmmm...if only i can figure out how to upload pics from my iphone 😳
