Here's my new barenia and toile Trim II, 31cm. I got it at the H sale on Tuesday. I was so thrilled to find it.

So exciting. I found the same bag at another H sale--ebene barenia and trim, same size. One of the best finds of my life. Finally I have a warmer-weather bag... I love yours. My first trim...now I am a convert.

^^Bagpunk I think that Trim has to be a 38 cm? Or larger? I know it has to be bigger than a 35 cm. But I am not 100% sure!! I hope this helps!!

another question for trim lovers: what do you think of those made of panama straw? i heard that there are trims that are made of this material, other than the more popular toile and crinoline, and that H might have discontinued the panama straw material. i read a lot of comments about toile and crinoline, but hardly anything about the panama straw.

any comments would be greatly appreciated!!!

I never really thought of the Trim but when i saw this & tried it on... I knew it was meant to be mine - presenting my new to me - 35 Trim (Rouge Box Leather (?) .... the perfect shoulder bag IMO!

Does anyone know how to interpret the numbers of a trim's datecode? I understand the letter of the alphabet, but what does the number mean? For example, my trim has the number 38 J.

Dear Ladies, Let me share my new-to-me baby with you: a 35cm Trim II in Raisin Epsom.

This is my first Hermès all-leather bag, and I can't thank the service the H authenticators provide enough. When this bag popped up (a sale bag, but seemingly unused), I fretted and researched and fantasized about this piece for a week before taking the plunge. All of your pictures and discussions across the H forum helped me make the choice. Raisin is something of a different color choice for my wardrobe, yet it works--and the lack of matchy-matchy colors even enhances the reds I tend to wear.

When I get a chance, I'll take a modeling shot. As a 35cm Trim, it's a big large, but it fits everything I have to carry perfectly.
