Thanks gals - I will go with Havanne for now...lol The leather is stiffer than any of my other Togos. I am just not sure what it is! It is buried at the bottom of a stack of boxes at the moment, but I will definitely try digging it out and getting some better photos with better lighting.

I love the Trim! I am taking a 35 BJ Trim with me for quick trip to CA this week~I think this is an under-the-radar H style~CLASSIC H IMO
The Trim looks so fun with a Carmen clipped to the bottom front loop.
Once I came into the CHI H Boutique and they had a whole display of colorful Summer Trims with colorful Carmens clipped on them and that did it~I fell right then.
Still would like to get a Toile combo in the Trim like you GK~
The Trim bag feels so 1960s (in a a good way) to me.
The Kelly feels 1950s and the Trim the 1960 IMO!

ITA, I have three, all 31cms, two without zippers, one with. Surprisingly I prefer the open top.

TT, I have the BJ in 31 and had it out in rotation recently. I took the 2009 suitcase cadena, which is on the heavy side, and hung it from the bottom loop on the bag, It was just perfect. The bag had the right look for the weighty charm.

I just love the look of the Trim I, I just don't know if my paranoia can handle the open top. TIA about the barenia/toile.

Oh I don't think it matters that much - the bag looks like a Trim and so we can enjoy a pic of a lovely lady carrying a Trim-like bag in a chic way :D I love her overal look - I have a MaxMara coat that looks exactly like her coat and have been thinking about getting a Trim to go with it - after having seen this pic I think I might try and hunt one down ;)

Hello all! This is my first posting... Just "won" a vintage Trim I 31 at the Paris Artcurial auction. I'm guessing it's circa 1970 and it's in terrific condition, but taking it to H in London for a spa. Does anyone have experience with replacing hardware? It was gold, but is terribly worn and I'm thinking it would look great with silver. Will be happy to provide before and after pictures once it returns from rehab. Thanks!!

Does anyone know (or can guess) what this leather might be? It seems very soft and drapes so beautifully on her!

What a beautiful bag! Congratulations.

I was wondering if anyone knows if the Trim bags from the last few years have a lining. Are they lined in leather, or left unlined like the older versions?
