Introducing my new-to-me Trim II 38 in black evergrain phw. It was advertised as a 35 so larger than expected but with a small D&C insert it's become the most delicious, smooshy, floopy bag ever!!! [emoji173]️[emoji173]️[emoji173]️

Congratulations on your new Trim! I am not normally into black bags but for this one I would have made an exception, so soft and glossy, it must be a perfect bag to haul everything on a daily basis, bet I could squeeze in my laptop. So far I am the lucky owner of a Turqouise Trim II 31, which holds a surprising amount of stuff, so will definitely be on the lookout for a larger Trim. Enjoy:-)

Thank you Eliwon [emoji4]

It is pretty perfect for hauling things around and fits my MacBook Air (11") quite comfortably while still remaining surprisingly lightweight. Love the Trim in turquoise, your 31 must be TDF!!!

Wonderful!! I got a large black trim a couple of months ago, and I too use it to haul my MacBook Air 11" and even the iPad Pro (which is bigger than the Air).

I've been wondering if mine is a size larger than the 38. It's the original flat style, and it measures 16" across. The woman I bought it from said it was a "40 something" size. If you don't mind, could you tell me the measurement of your 38? Curious what size I've got...

Thanks and congratulations on your beautiful bag!!

Thank you Young, I know that there is a 43 size, not sure if it also comes in 40, which is maybe what yours is? Mine is a little less than 15" across (~14.8). Regardless, glad you are enjoying the bag. If you get a chance I'd love to see pics!

Hello. I think your question was ment for ForeverInPink - hopefully she will pick it up and answer you :-)

Congratulations, FrouFrou! Your Trim II is beautiful on you and I hope you enjoy it very much. Arabesques' raisin Trim is a powerful motivator, isn't it?

This is my new-to-me 43 Evergrain Trim I, from a lovely tPFer. It is in beautiful shape and I took it on my recent trip to drizzly/rainy Amsterdam and Paris, where it performed beautifully. It held so much and was really comfortable on my shoulder. I had a belt cut down to use as a shoulder-strap extender, to enable me to wear it as a cross-body bag, but I didn't even feel the need to do that.

For size reference, I'm 5'8". I was concerned about the size, but I don't think it's overwhelming, and even when it's really stuffed, it doesn't look huge. I was afraid a Trim II could easily get out of hand, with my purse-stuffing proclivities.

I haven't seen Trims in stores, but I asked SA about them last fall when I heard here that they were discontinued. She pulled out the book and showed me that they are available to order. I believe that was the Trim II, IIRC.

I realise you posted this 4 years ago but I just thought of the same, I just bought a real bargain of a clemence trim 35 in Gris T and plan to use it for travelling and was trying to search for anyone who had amended this to be crossbody.
the belt somehow came to my mind but wanted to ask, have you ever carried it this way? did this work for you? I need a large crossbody as I am about to have my fifth child and when I travel with my kids, well... one can imagine. The evie just doesnt work for me, too casual and the Jypsiere is out of my price range, so I am hoping this works!

Ooooh, I just discovered this beauty. All this time I thought Jackie O's was a Gucci. Now, I realise I should have been looking for one of these....hitting my head against the wall. Is the Trim still available for order? If so, I will definitely order one. It looks like the perfect bag!
Many thanks.
