I am so lucky to have a daughter. I will bequeath all Hermes to her. If she enjoys wearing these beauties even a fraction as much as I have, they will bring her tremendous pleasure. I started with H silks when I was her age. I purchased one for her several years ago, and I have never seen her wear it, so I don't think she's there yet. But I hope to be around long enough to see her embrace Hermes. Perhaps I should start her with something in H silver. I could see her making that a part of her tech start-up lifestyle.
And--in keeping with the thread topic--maybe then we could move from silver to a 31 Trim.
Totally wipe downable because it isn't even leather and no fabric inside. It's just a good looking vinyl-y something or other. (I know, horrors!
) I keep pens in it and it works for me as I've already had an unfortunate ink bleed through a leather pouch. That was nasty. Luckily, the Trim was not involved.

Thank you so much stillfabulous! This trim is 14 years old and its condition is unbelievable. Hermes really makes quality products that can last a lifetime.
The Trim I has got me intrigued; while Trim II is certainly more practical as it can hold more, the Trim I's flat structure looks very nice.
