I believe Jackie O had both the Gucci and the Hermes Trim - there are pics of her with the Trim in this thread.
I don't think you can still get it from the store but I may be wrong, I have never tried that - there are plenty of great preloved options out there though, which is what I went for anyways.

^I recently bought and now brought a vintage toile/black box Trim I on summer vacation with me & am loving it. Plan to Spa it when I return home, which is a big chunka change, but will restore it to be a forever great looking style IMHO.
I also have gotten plenty of use out of my ebene all leather Trim I. These 31s fit more than one would imagine, and the shoulder length is comfortable.

I really like the Trim but would prefer it to have the option of an extra shoulder strap for wearing cross body, similar to the Gucci Jackie. Do you think Hermes will make this extra strap? (I'm not VIP so I don't think my request will be taken seriously.) Or is it better to get one custom made by a leather crafts person? Problem would be finding a matching buckle. Any ideas or suggestions? Or is there another brand that makes something similar to the Gucci but with a zipper.

I believe there was a period of time when these types of extenders came with Trims, I've seen some of them surface occasionally on the second hand market. Just putting it out there as an option in addition to asking H or having one made by an outside person....

Or you can buy a matching Massai, those come with extenders too and I think the straps could be the same width and style. People do it with Evelyne's and Kelly's all the time, why not Trims and Massai's ??? [emoji12]

I have two older trims with the extender straps, which are a great option. It makes a great cross body bag.

I do not see how the massai strap would work because it has hole in both ends and one end needs a buckle to work on trim if I figuring this correctly.

I am planning to get a belt and have that cut down to the size I need for cross-body - my Trim is in the colour gold so there are a lot of belt options - you just have to make sure that the size of the belt and the size of the bag buckle work, so probably best to measure that. you can find H etriviere belts for around $300 on ebay, which you would definitely pay for a custom made strap. The idea is not from me, someone in this thread said that they did that around 4 years ago already. i love the idea because I can't stand the Evelyne strap, so this gives me the option to have a nice leather strap instead.
the massai strap would need an H buckle on the other side (I already looked into this) and I am not sure how save the regular belt buckles would be on a bag

maybe a thick leather bracelet would also work but not sure if these exist for H (perhaps you could use an non H one?)

Could you post a picture of the trim with the extender? What is the longest setting for it? I've never seen one with the extender before.

I think it would be great if Evelyne has leather strap as well. Or at least have the option of either canvas or leather. I really like the Fendi Strap You. Great way to change a look of a bag.

oh nice - for anyone who likes the more casual style of the Evelyne that is nice way to make a bit different.
I have tried several Evelynes over the last couple of years and while I see how practical it is it is too casual for me, given that I mostly dress casual myself. I prefer to off-set that with a less casual bag - which I think the Trim will do for me hopefully :)
