So very glad to be able to contribute to this thread! I started a reveal, but I also wanted to share my happiness with fellow Trim lovers. Here she is! Trim I, 31 cm, in toile and barenia. The stamp is I in a square, so 2005, which seems a bit late for a Trim I, but then, who knows with H...

Sophie, it is perfection on you! Congrats and may you enjoy this classic Jackie O bag for years to come. Love Barenia and Toile!

Thanks to everyone who posted about their beautiful Trims! I've read this entire thread twice, as I search for a Trim for myself.

Question: Does anyone have a Trim without a gold Hermes stamp on the underside of the leather strip that crosses the top of the bag? I've seen several pictures with the stamp, but the bag I'm considering buying does not have that stamp. Otherwise, it looks perfect.

Oh, I see this gorgeous Trim does not have the stamp on the leather strip. Good to see that not all Trims have it!

Edit: after looking through this thread again with eagle eyes, I spotted two other bags without the stamp. So I may soon be joining the Trim club! :)

Yes, just because there's no stamp doesn't mean it's not authentic, with vintage bags there will have been decades of wear so that means stamp may fade etc, if logos are a factor when buying get plenty of photos of the bags details.

Thanks, Millicat! I purchased the bag - exciting. :D I was worried about the stamp from an authenticity standpoint, but I put my mind to rest on that point.

I am now a happy member of the Trim club! I purchased a black Trim II 35cm in swift. The bag is from 2005 and does not show her age; the high quality is apparent. I decided on the Trim because I wanted a shoulder bag that was big but not too big and as light as possible, while still being full leather. This swift Trim is incredibly light, functional, and deliciously smooshy. I look forward to carrying her often: for the office, on the weekends, and while traveling.

This is my first Hermes bag but likely not my last.

Thanks to everyone who posted in this thread for the invaluable information, especially arabesques for her blog post about the Trim.
