Hello! May I ask you a question? I just purchased my first Picotin (Tressage in Indigo blue) and I was wondering....When you are using the bag, do you keep the lock on? do you pull it through the loop? Or hang it in the bag inside? with or without lock? I was wondering if the lock would scratch the bag.... Thank you!

I always wear my Pico with the lock outside because I find that adds to the overall character and look. Aesthetic aside, the lock helps to cinch the strap as it weighs it down. Helps keep the content ( big items) more secured?
So far, no scratches

If you saw the pico with the new Maurice leather it is most likely in the Bleu Sapfir, at least in the US. My SA says the new leather is only being done in bleu saphir in the US for the time being. What color was the one you saw? I'd like another one in this leather in the 18 sizeAKA laundry basket

When I need to take things out, I just pull the opening wider and reach in by the side. I don’t carry much stuff though....

Thank you for taking the time to answer my question! I will do exactly as you say! mine is P18 so I won't have too much things in there!
What size is your pico? I have the 22 and the 18 and I pull the lock thru the loop so that it's not so easy for strangers hands to dip into. I take things out on either side of the strap. I use a short wallet and a LV mini pochette and I find that it's still easy to pull out of my P18. My SA had recommended that I not loop it and just put the lock on it for the weight but I found it easy to push the strap aside to reach for things. For the P22 you definitely have enough room to reach for things even if you pull the strap thru the loop. Hope this helpsThank you Hillychristie! Sorry I misread your post. I didn't catch that you saw the new leather on the Evelyne. What color was that Evelyne? Here's a pic of my bag showing the leather. Your mom would love it!

I have also seen the new leather in gris asphalte pico! It was really cute!
Thank you for taking your time in answering me! the pico I got is 18. The leather is like swift (I put the photo on "What is your last Hermes Purchase" thread- the one about the marching Picotins) and its stiffer then the ones I have seen (I think it's swift). I am going to do what you and Hillychristie do; through the loop with lock, and get a smaller wallet and mini pochette. Thanks so much for your advise!What size is your pico? Omg what a gem!!!!!!! It’s gorgeous!!!!!! The Evelyne that I saw was gris asphalt. I loved how the leather felt but I already have an Evelyne 33 in beton and a tpm in bleu nuit. I did see a bleu nuit 33 with GHW and it’s like my tpm twinsie. Let’s say I was tempted for a minute but I’m waiting for a jypsiere 28 in some kinda blue....and a B or K
