Ode to the Lindy

I feel stupid asking this question but would love some advice. This is my first Lindy and first pre-owned H purchase so not sure if this is normal for Lindy, or I need to take it in for spa service, or even worse.

On my Lindy’s flap and the front panel, I can feel areas where the leather layers are separating (the resin seal is fine). It feels like it’s intentional versus areas where glue separated. I can actually pinch the two layers apart with my fingers. I’ve attached photos of me separating the 2 layers.

Is this normal?!

My Lindy 26 in Rose Jaipur. I got it this month pre loved from Yoogis Closet. It’s in pretty much perfect condition and still had stickers on the palladium hw. I removed the stickers.
I have several bags, including a Birkin 35. This bag is my favorite and I wish I had bought one years ago. It holds most everything I need. It’s not heavy at all. It’s so very versatile and comfortable on my shoulder.
If I had to keep only one bag from my entire collection it would be this Lindy. Attached are some photos. I’m super bad at photography. Two are outside in late afternoon sun, one is in my dining room. I’d call the color a coral. Because I live in the southwest USA, I can wear this color year round.

I think I know what you’re referring to? My Lindy is clemence from 2011. The flap is definitely smooshy and it’s definitely not 2 pieces glued together, yet it doesn’t sag. Is that what you’re referring to? Mine looks like a solid piece with no sag between the layers. I hope this helps?

Yes!! I don’t have visible sag either; I was pinching the pieces of leather just to photograph it. Is it this way on the front and back panels for you too? Sorry to be so dense, but none of my other purses are constructed this way so it’s kind of alarming to see unless you KNOW it’s supposed to be like this.

I'm finally joining the club today with this 'new to me' Lindy 30 in Rouge Casaque PHW!

This one was a big purchase for me, but after hunting for months on the pre-loved market for the perfect shade of red, I simply couldn't turn this one down. Unfortunately it arrived on the back of a 3 month vacation, so financially it wasn't a great time, but regardless, I'm absolutely thrilled. I have to admit, I was quite tentative after not being 100% confident in the seller's communication, and the photos in the listing were a bit ho-hum, so it definitely felt like a bit of a gamble.

Opening it when it arrived, I'd prepared myself for mild disappointment, expecting at least that it would arrive with general wear and tear and worn corners. I couldn't have been more wrong. Despite being from 2009, there's not a single sign of wear on it, in fact it looks like its arrived directly from the store. I'm totally shocked, its beyond any of my expectations. I feel so lucky.

The only thing I'm not 100% certain about is the colour, it looks more like Rouge Vif to me, or at least a Rouge with darker tones/blue in it than Casaque. Does anyone know the best way to find out the actual colour with any real certainty?

Also, looking for Twilly suggestions! I've found one on Fashionphile that I think looks like a nice match, but any other suggestions would be so much appreciated! I'd love to see some colour combinations I haven't thought of

What a beautiful bag!! I am on the look out for a lindy in this color. Can I ask what color it is and how much you paid for it? I would love to know what preloved site you bought this from. What twilly did you get for this? Also if you still have this bag do you find it to be a versatile color? Thank you so much in advance!
