Hi Ladies,

Recently I fell in love with the Lindy bag and wanted to purchase one! I'm 5'7", around 125lb. I have been eyeing a Lindy 34 in Etoupe (slightly cheaper) and Lindy 30 in Gold/Brown from a reseller but I can't decide which one. Most of the thread prefer 30 not 34. I need advices for you all.

Sizewise, Lindy 34 is quite bulky, and is quite uncomfortable to carry as the bag, handing off the shoulder is in the way of my arms.
Have you tried L34 on in person? If not suggest to try it on in person.

I wouldn’t recommend L34
It’s quite heavy. You should try L30 or L26. It should suit you better for your body frame n not too bulky either

I have the 30 in gris asphalte, malachite, and crevette; and the 34 in gold. I'm 5'2", so these bags are on the large size for me, esp. the 34, but I use them professionally and want a bag that will hold an iPad pro, a letter-size pad of paper, pens, a battery charger block, and the other necessities of a full day out and about. I've been looking for a 26, but that would be an indulgence -- that's too small to carry for work; to my mind, it's more for a lunch with friends than a whole day of gadding about. With your extra height, you can clearly take either the 30 or the 34 in stride -- but I would try to actually try one in each size first; it's an investment, after all!

But congratulations on finding this offbeat bag; few people seem to know of it, and I find that most, even the au courant, don't recognize its provenance. So it flies under the radar a bit.

I'm the same height as you and I've been using my Lindy 30 for over 10 years. The 34 is too bulky for your frame. For everyday use, I prefer the 26. For vacation, I prefer the 30 as it could hold my SLG's, small makeup bag, camera, iPad, two phones, and a shawl.

Have you tried the 26? If you don't carry a lot of stuff, 26 is better than 30.
