Etoile de mer, I love your outfit and your Deva is the perfect finishing touch! Khaki/taupe and white are so wonderful for summer.

Frou Frou, you are so right--the variety of designs in horn is so wide that it offers a lot of options for people with different styles.

Last week, someone complimented me on my Kali--she elaborated, saying she 'loved all the big, bold plastic jewelry out now!' :smile1:

Thanks so much VnSoie! After seeing you wearing your spectacular Kali, I've been hoping that my boutique might get one in...of course just for a closer look.

Here is a photo of my new Deva necklace. :smile1:
I love the long length, and it feels like the perfect accessory for my favored warm weather outfit of a simple shift dress, and flat sandals.
It's much too chilly to wear this ensemble now, but look forward to doing so this summer!

Hermes horn and white lacquer Deva necklace, shown with a cotton shift dress, Hermes Barenia watch, and a pair of white leather sandals.
Beautifull, best with a silver bracelet ( hermes of course) !!

Yesterday I wore my horn and white lacquer Deva necklace.
While I still love my Lena necklaces, I love the longer length of the Deva, and the fun pop of white! :smile1:
ove, love your style

Stunning , so perfect on you . Love , love your style . You have the restraint to let special pieces like this speak which I really appreciate .

I can affirm the very positive reviews for Quecraft (etsy and the bay); Que is the most wonderful seller -- conscientious, easy to work with, sweet & caring, and will make custom designs to suit. I have lots, and I do mean lots, of her pieces and they are fantastic. The precision of the work is not entirely on par with H, but I have one of her horn Ano-style bracelets and an SA in Los Angeles thought it was H -- same quality of horn and nicely done shaping and finishing -- only clue otherwise is the lack of the H imprint. I've been ordering from her for 2 years and I think some of the designs she and I have worked on together to produce suit me better (and I daresay are sometimes more elegant in their simplicity and lack of logos) than their H inspirations.

Just a heads up that it appears Quecraft(Mrs Cao) will no longer make specific scarf or shawl rings which is unfortunate as she had made some items for me last year(2011). I am not certain why her inability all of a sudden but regardless, the items she still makes are wonderful .However for anyone out there needing a personal design done for things like shawl rings or ready made scarf rings, I did find another based in Calgary,Alberta ( google Anne B Accessories) and wanted to share them as their work is very nice as well(plus the prices are very good as well for items such as scarf rings like different sizes of the MOP, horn, wood and a very unique turquiose stone one I have seen no where else/they also will custom make to your specifications and the prices are much less than MT's although more than Mrs Cao's. Another bonus : they are free shipping anywhere in North America). I found them when I was doing a google search upon Mrs Cao's negative response. I believe they are just setting up their web presence as I had to use the contact button to find out how to order and pay- the owner Anne (just google Anne B Accesories) promptly responded and I was able to pay using Paypal. I ordered some custom items which have not yet arrived but did get the 2 large MOP scarf rings that within the last day and they are REALLY nice. Hence I want to share my find for others on the look out for scarf rings and such at a reasonable price by posting pics using the black(other side is a pearlized grey that shimmers with hints of whatever color scarf you are using it with/this is the side in the photo) and the white one.

iluvscarves Thanks for sharing your sources of shawl and scarf rings .
It makes very fascinating reading and is really helpful :your MOP rings look lovely .
Gorgeous gavroche BTW
I have three different sized rings from Maitai and am very happy , they are lovely and I found the price reasonable .Of course her personal touches are why we keep returning , as well as the plethora of information she so freely shares .
Buying from her is a totally pleasurable experience .
Living in Europe it's easier to shop within EU too .

As far as Quecraft goes, she is helpful and very inexpensive . Unfortunately the hair clips and bracelets I bought haven't worked out for me at all , but the quality was fine .
They ended up at the charity shop and I'm sure someone will love them.
In the end I feel that I need to try this sort of thing in store first . Even at Hermes many of the horn things on offer aren't quite right on me .
