I found the entire collection of pendants at the London Bond Street location...it was as if they were hoarding everything H ever made on the day I visited in October 2021. The sad part? As much as I loved these pendants, they somehow didn't work for me; I tried one after another. It's ironic, after discovering them and all the work I had put in hunting them down convinced they were perfect for me. They are stunning but, as you know, either something clicks or it doesn't. And it didn't. I even had a enabler with me that shook her head. So, as you said about some CSGMs, I'll have to admire it from afar. Pity. But great to see it again, it's as stunning as it ever was.

Sorry to hear that none of them suited you! But, what great luck at having been able to see the whole collection. So Fun! And, at least that way you were absolutely sure you should pass on them. Pat on the back for being disciplined, too! :flowers:

On another note, I'm really liking the Ecuyere collection. I'm a fan of mid-century design and these really align well with that aesthetic.

The pricing is a bit bonkers, however. They're all horn and permabrass...they do look quite robust. But the pendant is €800 and the earrings €1000 ... and the collar necklace is €3400 . I may still try them on, though...

I especially like the collar necklace. But, yes, yikes regarding the cost! :oh:

The Casaque pendants - this is the large version. They are incredibly chic in real life...and with the new style leather cord. In Black/Gold this time. They come in small as well.

They also had the gold leaf in vertical:

But this was sold out, so I got the horizontal above. Either way, these are just so elegant. And I think they would work so well with gold earrings. Can't wait to wear mine out.
I bought this after seeing your post and may have missed it otherwise. 🥰

Great collection...a bit of horn fiend myself. I've had the Eurydice collection pinned to my wish list because it is indeed rare to see horn coupled with a gold tone (permabrass but tomato / tomahto), and they have so many different option...your picture has give me some impetus to go look at some pieces IRL. I'm particularly fond of the Eurydice short necklace:

Hello, new here, I’ve been obsessed with Hermes horn jewellery for a while but never taken the plunge and then regretted when sold out.

This piece is absolutely stunning, do agree with you on price (insane) and that was 2yrs ago. However, curious did you purchase this in the end?

Apologies for the repeat, I like both pieces, but only meant to state on price on the 2nd piece as I’m interested in the piece below myself but have never come across permabrass, does it tarnish and hold up well?

Hi there, welcome to the world of horn. I can say, once you start...slippery, slippery, slippery. That said, it is a natural material and it is made by hand so I do understand the pricing somewhat. At least, in the past. But - for me - this new pricing is nearly on par with actual (fine) gold jewellery and that's where I draw the line with costume pieces. Unless I just must have something. And as for the two you are asking about, I just couldn't. I find the associated price point just not on par with what I would be getting...I do love the collar necklace and would, say, part with 1-2K (which is already a lot) but, at 3.4K, I find the price completely inappropriate. It's not a money thing as it is a "worth it" thing for me. I still find the piece gorgeous, but never tried it on as the boutiques in my area have not and will not be ordering it.

It's a pity because horn is really evergreen. It transcends seasons, it can go day or evening. I like some of these new creations (the ones posted here) but sometimes I'm more in love with those from previous seasons. Possibly consider some vintage/resale items? Most of my pieces are from years ago and some previous seasons' pieces pop up on the market regularly, for "reasonable" prices (in quotation marks because it is Hermes so...). As for permabrass, I don't know how it holds up. Regardless, with horn, you do need to be mindful with it (no perfumes, etc. gently rub clean...I kind of treat it as I would treat pearls) so I would think that this care would extend to the permabrass. But that's an assumption. I don't know if permabrass will turn a different colour or tarnish over time...I think it should be fine. But would I would also love to know TBH.
